Are people ever gonna shut up about the 'catsuit'?
If you don't like it, don't have her wear it. Simple.

Thats the plan;)

Love that her hair is down ... In battle would love an option to put in either a bun or ponytail. But if not, OK. I'm just glad that she is back on the Normandy. Image IPB

In my opinion, if there is a female character in whole of videogames wich wouldn't wear a catsuit and the hair like that in battle that is Ashley.

I didn't have any problem with Miranda because it fits her character, but Ashley? Really?, never a miniskirt but a catsuit and hair in front of the eyes during battle is okay?

I like to see her letting her hair down between missions, but only if she gets dressed and prepared to fight during missions.

I really, really can't understand why her hairdo was changed. That bun looked lovely. New texture surely rocks, though.
But again, I'm a very big traditionalist when it comes to reintroducing the characters.

Same here. So many times it feels like characters are changed JUST for the sake of change.

Um... no she isn't. You gotta be blind to think that. If Ash existed in real life I'd be ALL over that:devil: She's definitely high up on my list of ME hotties!! Ok, I responded to the wrong post. Don't know how that happened??

Is there an option to give her armor in ME 3? If so does anyone know where I could find picks of her new armor?

Yes, Casey confirmed we will be able to pack her into standard armour. Plus she will have alternate apperance in CE (and DLC prolly too) just like Vega, Kaidan and Liara

I love it.

And even those that don't like it, have to admit how the light hits it and the look of the hair is much more natural.

Even if I didn't like that kind of hair, I'd would still admit that it looks better in the sense of how much more natural hair looks overall.

This is confirmed?  All I heard was some vague assurances of "armor" of some type.   Nothing about "standard" armor.  But if it is so, I will breathe a huge sigh of relief.

I wouldn't mind being able to switch outfits with people like having Jack's ME2 outfit on Miranda... Can you imagine?

..Damn every woman in my game would be dressed up in either Miranda's outfit or Jacks *sighs*

Same here Iakus, vage assuranes. Out of all her changes, the armor thing was what annoyed me the most. Still, with all this talk of armor customization I have some hopes.

Unless they think "armor customization" is mostly changing colors and patterns like they thought in ME2 (and the random things you could buy for your suit doesn't count. +5 to shields? give me a break), then your hopes and dreams are blown far far away

Agreed.

Personally, I thought Ashley's old look was perfect for her, and quite attractive to boot.  I never saw the need to change her appearance at all (higher textures aside), but I certainly wouldn't have switched it to something that looks both less distinctive and less fitting for the character.

It's not the end of the world, but it's still disappointing.

I am really glad to finally see her with her hair down :wizard:  As nice as her updo looks on her, I love how it really lets you admire how long, elegant and sexy her neck is:wub:  but i can still recall how surprised i was during our 'Night before Illos' that she came to Commander Shepard's Cabin, with her hair still up as she always wears it.:pinched: But I suppose that that is true to character...Even though Ash may like a guy, that doesn't mean that she will doll herself up for him:lol: and that's one of the things that i like so much about her:P

LOL...her catsuit clearly isn't "armor"...I would imagine they wouldn't consider anything less than that armor as well. Critical thinking folks.

I don't like it because:

1, It reminds me too much of Miranda.

2, It's not practical, and neither is the catsuit.

That being said, I have nothing against Miranda, I just found her hair and uniform really impractical.

Just found this fan art of a ME3 Ash. I think this kind of look would probably be more suitable as it gives a slight change but also keeps her original character from  ME1.

I'm rather fond of her new look. In fact, it's somewhat ruined my Mass Effect 1 & 2 interactions with her because all I can think about is how bland her old appearance is in comparison.

It's like being forced to go back to watching TV in black and white after experiencing full 1080p HD, 5.1 Dolby.

THIS x 100. It's a change up from her old school bun, but not unfamilliar like the current top model look. It just doesn't fit her character. This does.

I really like that- a ponytail works better from a functional standpoint as you don't have the goofiness of the E3 videos where her hair is flopping in front of her eyes obscuring her view down the gun sight. And yet its still new and different.

This exactly.

The face doesn't look too much like Ash though, but aside from that it is a much better concept than what we have seen of ME3.

I really like the ponytail. That armor is definitely better than what we saw. Although personally I'd like it to be even thicker. In a perfect world, she and my Shep would be wearing matching his/hers N7 armor suits though...

Awsome pic.
That would have been good. Actually gives off a no fuss solider vibe without staying the same rather than a presenter for the E channel vibe. Even if it’s still very form fitting and not even that different from her current, its different enough in the right ways as to completely change the impression.
Ah well.  I may hate her current design but whatever bioware can do what they want with their characters.
