I like the hair. Admittedly it's not a practical choice given she's about to enter a gunfight, but it looks nice. We the Ashley fans have been asking for a long time to see what Ashley looks like with her hair down, and now we've gotten that wish.
I like it, that said I'd prefer it if the option to give her a ponytail or something during actual battle so that her hair doesn't get in her face.
Either way though, she still looks beautiful.

As for the rest of the outfit, I'm lukewarm. I'm not bursting with joy at her new look and I rather dislike some of the implications for why she would be dressed that way, but at the same time it's not as sl*tty as people say it is and it's not bad enough that it'll be a dealbreaker.

Besides it's not going to matter WHAT she wears, James Shepard is going to invite her up to his cabin the very first chance he gets so that he can tear it off her!
Bazzzziiiing!

I would suggest shaving it, but, I don't think she has the right facial structure for it.

Agreed on all counts.

Her hair is pretty, but impractical.  At least in combat.  Now if that's her "on the Normandy" look and she pulls it back into a ponytail when it's time to go shooting stuff, I can get behind that.  If she doesn't... well, I'l be disappointed, but I can live with it.

Really want to see what she looks like in combat...

Those follicles are crying with joy to have been free from bondage! (I fear that was a poor choice of words!)

Whatever her hair, I'll be calling her up to the captain's quarters. Assuming of course she'll settle for it.

A, GIGGITY!

I think it's all funny considering I'd always see femShep players wanting more impractical luxorious hairstyles. There's that mod that lets them use Jentha's hairstyle, for example (why that character got unique hair I'll never know, unless the option for femSep was cut from console versions), which has...not even bangs, just a lot of loose strands hanging in the face. Even though the overall length is shorter than Ashley's ME3 hair, it's still a bigger obstacle since it covers so much of the eyes.
And I'm guessing people give Miranda leeway since she's not a combat-based fighter and she's not a soldier, but I doubt biotics can improve focus when firing a pistol/submachine gun. She needs to see as much as anyone else. It's nothing against her, it's just odd that now this is an issue.
Impractical as it may be, though, I do like it. Ashley's always been cute, but she cleans up very nicely. Plus she can always wear a helmet, as Casey Hudson said.

Bioware trying to make Ashley appeal to a larger fan-base by making her dress like the Cerberus cheerleader and completely out of character is understandable, but it greatly disappoints me.

I like the new hairstyle - to me it fits with her status now as a Spectre and being independent from the Alliance chain of command (and thus no hairstyle regs).

Her outfit is fine, but it doesn't seem to fit her character too well. I remember her saying something about taking a big gun and "nice, solid armor" over the combat suits asari commandos wear, then she's wearing something similar now. If she were to have a few more armor places here and there it'd fit her character more (and make her look more badass IMHO).

It maybe just what she wears on the Normandy.  Here's to hoping they have different outfits on the Normandy and their armor on when fighting.

I may hate Ashley as a person at the moment but I can't deny that she looks sexy with that new hairstyle.
