Just came to me that allowing David to continue with the Geth control (Renegade option) could prove to be a horrible decision.
If I remember correctly, he can control Geth and if that is the case, wouldnt that make Legion, as an ally (and all the Geth for that matter) completely obsolete? Considering the project is headed by Cerberus and considering they are now hunting us, it seems it may have been a bad decision. Damnit....

Well legion is advanced enough that he doesn't have to return to the main geth hive-mind hub thingy. Also I believe I saw a geth with cerberus colors in a ME3 trailer so I suppose Cerberus uses whatever they gained from "Overlord" to take control of atleast a few geth, or they still have David and use him. But I don't think hes a threat to the race as a whole. Like edi said, they are a mind 'the size of a galactic arm'. if comprehending that is beyond the abilities of of an AI created from Reaper parts it would be weird if one human could control the whole race

This assumes that they manage to make the project a success instead of just turning David's mind to fudge. Again.
