I think Miranda is gonna have a much heavier role than we think.

Given her rank in Cerberus, how she was near impossible to kill off in the Suicide Mission and how Bioware is soo secretive of her for Mass Effect 3, i wouldn't be surprised if she was key to the story.

I have a strong suspicion she is the 'female cerberus' end boss-kinda lady we are supposed to fight. Probably indoctrinated.

I doubt she's the "key to the story" in an overall sense, but clearly given the secrecy around her and Cerberus' reasons for attacking Shepard in ME3, she will probably be a key player in the Cerberus story arc.

Nah, she'll be T.I.M. replacement much like Liara was the Shadow broker's.

The Stage is the collector base ; If you saved the C. base but Miranda died ,the place is toast regardless. Otherwise she gets all emotional about the responsibilities bestowed upon her . Then you hug it out.

That's my guess.

that would be good actually, punishes the one that let their team died in mass effect 2 and make them have great consequences in mass effect 3 in which they will be crying about cause they "messed up" their story.

There's almost no doubt she'll be strongly connected with Cerberus plot arc, but "key to the story"? Fot now I can't see how she may be directly connected with stopping the Reapers

Yes, I think she will be heavily involved in the Cerberus part of the story. Possibly ending up as a replacement for the Illusive Man.

A much heavier role?, does she discover some kind of calorific, pudding planet between ME2 & 3?.

Hah, I was thinking something similar yet different when I read this thread title. I was betting it was a petition to make her butt even larger and positioned in front of the camera in awkward points of dialogue.

Hmm, IMO it will be reminiscent of going to the Shadow Broker's base with Liara, except it's Miranda and TIM, and we are trying to find out what the **** is up with him.

I sincerely hope in that event we find him drunk, naked and smashing up a mirror.

I would like that (surprise). Though she can't be 100% plot-critical because she can die.

The reasons for her plot armor might have been technical: she had briefings to give on the different stages of the suicide mission, so she had to survive to the final battle.

Regarding the secrecy, they were like that about Garrus in ME2, and he was not more important than anyone else. Granted, he had no backstory for a big role where Miranda has.

Anyway, I think there's a chance she will have a big role, only limited by the fact that she, too, will not be alive in all games. She's hard to kill in ME2 - whatever the reason for that, it makes her presence more likely - , she has the highest story potential of everyone but Liara, she's a popular LI and she was the most used team member in ME2. Four good reasons....

Still I worry at times. Oh, the pains of being a fan...

Miranda fans have better hopes for her than us Zaeed fans do for our favorite squadmate. :(

I'd prefer she takes over Cerberus, if we aren't given the option to completely destroy it.

If she does play a significant role in ME 3 I don't think it will be with Cerberus because at the end of 2 if you chose to destroy the Collector base with her in your party she actually quits Cerberus after TIM tells her to stop Shepard from destroying the base.

Important role? Yes. More than any other character because she's harder to kill in ME2? Nope.

Her role in the game will be entirely optional. I'm sure she'll be as important as Wrex was in ME2.
