Let's think about this for a second. Would a top ranking combat specialist and SPECTRE be overweight? No. As for why no fat civvies? I would argue largely because of development constraints

Bioware is clearly a bunch of weightist bigots. Shepard should have the option of being fat and fat LIs should be added. Garrus and Miranda should be made fat.

Games tend to feature idealized characters and settings...it adds to the escapist effect, I guess.

This also in the future all synthesised food have 0 carbs and less then 400 calories. there are no more fat people.

Its true. He is the only one. Even he is more bulk then flab. I'm guessing meals are all engineered to give the exact amount of nutrients required and nothing more. You can eat all day long and still take in only what you need. You are just gonna have to poop a lot.
Of course my theroy is based on no actual evidence. That would be a great universe though.

Why? Probably the same reason most humanoid character models are the same height. The human males and females are the same height. Human, Turian, Asari and Krogan are the same height. I'm not sure what the reason is.

Obesity has been out pawed through out the universe, and fat people have been sent to fat camp or are on the run.... And they can't run very far.
