Lets nake a list - "Get rid of" and "Make it happend". I really cant pull up a poll but our opinion matters, right.

So Lets Get Rid Of

1. Having to spent some pointS where you dont want them, to get something you want
2. Ammo system: "Shep, save the galaqy with what you find on the way!" I need more then 12 or 13 shots to sniper. I feel underarmed, unprepared goining into battle like this. Am i an idiot?
3. Battlefield bikinis and combat hearcuts- you come to fight - have you fraking combat gear on!

Lets make it happend:

1. Lets make a bar on Normandy. Its the end of the world, right? So why da hell not. This would be the place for minimalistic outfits and some beauty in the game, dont care if they wear like... nothing.
2. Disruptor ammo for Adept wihtout gay marrage to Zaeed for every mission with Blue Suns
3. More aliens to recruit
4. Lets fix the Shockwave. After 10 missions on Horizon it kinda stick to me; "I will have payback!" So i use it and kinda like it now.

Cant pull more out of my head right away, but I guess you all have suggestions. And lets make our points simple and clare, so when devs or moderators read it, it would be easy to pick up what it is about. No fuzz.

"1. Having to spent some pointS where you dont want them, to get something you want"

yeah that's stupid sometimes ..they should really not make things liks TIER1 not really talking with TIER3 of same ability.

"3. Battlefield bikinis and combat hearcuts- you come to fight - have you fraking combat gear on!"

some people like their helmets OFF

"1. Lets make a bar on Normandy."

imo useless and pointless

Get rid of
Ammo powers as abilities.
Having to wait multiple levels to actually put points into anything.
That dumb shuffle Shepard does while he has his gun out

Let's make it happened
The atmosphere that the SR1 had was awesome do that.
An Idle/Aiming animation for Shepard while he's in combat. Every other TPS does this.
Dialog
Multiple Endings

Oh yeah, any particular reason you're using past tense?

Let's make it happened:

classes that actually feel different. I mean let's be honest all of them are pretty much the same (now even more because we can pick the weapons). No such thing as only infiltrator can hack/pick locks and stuff like that. So you're basically just looking for the biggest DPS and ignore every other character.

So Lets Get Rid Of
1. Loading screens as much as you can

2. Grunt as a recruit (Not a fan) to replace with Wrex

3. Horrible/Ugh-like sex scenes. Don't eliminate, but you guys should be the first to discover sexy without the strange, awkwardness. Improved from other games, but try to perfect it.

Lets make it happen:
1. "True", Cinematic Multiple Endings (For comparison: That DA2/ME2 stuff for "alt endings", didn't do it for me)

2. More open battlefields, less of the "million bajillion boxes scattered in small room

3. Make an even more interactive Normandy! Fish was a good start, let's get a bar, mini museum with your accomplishments (the bedroom is 'okay for that), a freaking Game Room if it comes up!

4. More entertaining NPC banter. Like the awkward Turian/Human dinner date and the "GameStop" parody, Fish on Citadel. Good stuff.

Get rid of:
1.) Skin tight jumpsuits and high heels in combat.
2.) Lore for retcons, some things just shouldn't be attempted to be explained (ex. thermal clips).
3.) Use of the term "Mass Effect Field" in every codex entry describing anything and how it works from space ships to toothbrushes. I mean really, it feels like A Clockwork Orange sometimes.
4.) Don't make new characters start at level 1 again.
5.) Don't breeze over imported character decisions, make them an actual part of the active plot.

Let's Make It Happen:

1.) Bring back more weapon varieties and an inventory, but don't have all the trash drops from ME 1.
2.) Give some weapon customization like in ME 1 to alter rates of fire, accuracy and give a custom feel to firearms again.
3.) Keep armor customization for Shepard, but also for companion armor. Perhaps bring back armor types for each class, letting the Soldier specialize in light, medium and heavy. the Vanguard in light or medium, ect.
4.) Make a blend of ME 1 and ME 2 skill selection. ME 1 had much more variety for customizing each class to make a unique end result depending on the player.
5.) If we have to collect resources to upgrade the Normandy 2 and weapons, let us at least sell the extra resources to gain credits to buy stuff in shops.

Get rid of futuristic cities and locations that look like they're only for the rich and famous. There should be some real sh**holes. Even Omega as supposedly seedy as it is looks like luxury accommodations.

Get rid of planet surveys. I fell asleep several times looking to get enough platinum to do an upgrade. Yeesh. Or at least tone it down to where you scan the planet and get the resource readout without having to fire 20 probes down with peaceful dreamy soundtrack playing in the background.

Get rid of:
1) space probes- really useless and a waste of time

Lets make it happen:
- bring back interparty dialog ( part of the reason i liked playing ME1 multiple times was trying out different combinations for my teams and seeing how they interacted with each other. In part 2 they barely acknowledged one another)

You guys do realize that SR2 does have a bar, right? In Kasumi's room? It's pretty damn nice too :-/

Get ride of: The action pose. It just looks odd to see Shepard&Co. running around always pointing their guns at nothing. Why can't your secondary characters hold their guns like normal, and aim when necessary, instead of aiming all the time?

Make it happen: Smarter and more powerful squad mates. They can perform dodges (appropriate for their race--for instance, a Turian or Krogan obviously can't perform a summersault, but can slide to cover), melee attacks, stealth maneuvers if need be, and heal themselves.

I agree about getting rid of having to upgrade one skill to get another. Waste of points to have to unlock it then have to come back with more points to activate it.

Get rid of:
ARMOR BONUSES: I know it sounds strange but here me out. Having to wear certain armor, etc. for bonuses is annoying if you don't like how it looks. Armor should just be for visuals only. Armor bonuses should just be replaced for stat bonuses that stay no matter what you wear. We should make our Shepard look like how we want without worrying about armor bonuses.

Paying for ship gas: Besides the varren games on the Krogan homeworld, there was no way to get money outside of missions. I don't know how ME3 will work but paying for gas will still be a pain in the ass.

Side missions that are too small. None of them should be smaller than say the falling ship mission. God, I love that mission.
ME2 style loading screens. ME1's loading screens were SO beautiful. I love the Relays animation. Probably the best loading screen ever. Also SR1 had a better looking core. Just saying.

Let's make it happen:

Normandy with stairs to make it one environment that's like a mini hub world where all characters move around and interact with the world around them and each other.

Be able to pause at anytime on the Normandy to handle ALL characters skills and weapons.

All hub worlds the size of the Citadel in ME1.

Every system should have side missions you are randomly given via radio (it could be a hostile alien breakout mission or one about a Batarian raid) that reflects whatever kind of conflicts that are in that star system. These missions should be on different ships/space stations or different parts of moons and planets.

Use Charge to get from cover to cover

Almost completely about the armor options. Here's how I think it should work:

Light Armor = plus 20% speed and distance jogging.

Medium Armor = minus 20% cooldown time (for weapons and powers)

Heavy Armor = + 20% shields.

This way you never have to worry about stats ever again. People who like certain styles of armor NEVER again have to wonder what its stats are, because ALL armor in their respective classes have the same stats. The changes are purely aesthetic.

I can't tell you the number of times I've had to forfeit wearing awesome armor for something ugly, but with better stats.

Let's Get Rid Of:

Cutscenes and background info that makes your squadmates look like unstoppable machines (I'm looking at you Jack taking out 4 YMIR mechs in one second) when in actual gameplay they can't even take out a lone husk.

A stupidly designed mech with a giant glass canopy. Gee, I wonder what the enemy will shoot at? Tanks, armored personnel carriers, armored fighting vehicles, and submarines don't have giant glass canopies for a reason. In the 20th and 21st century we've developed unmanned drones and targeting sensors/cameras that allow people in distant command centers or the crews of vehicles to look outside without requiring a giant glass "please shoot me here" screen. I think they could have developed it further nearly 200 years in the future and having access to space-faring civilizations with technology several thousand years more advanced.

Let's make it happen:

Variety! More guns, endings, armor, clothes, missions, and multiple paths to the ending of ME3.

Get rid of:
-Planet Scanning: Find some other, interesting way to give us separate assignments and upgrades.

Let's make it happen:
-Bring back the RPG elements of the first Mass Effect (weapon and armor customization, character leveling, skill/ability point distribution).
-Deeper romantic subplot with Ashley/Kaiden. I think some lengthy relationship with them will add something good to the story.

 Get rid of:
-Tweak planet scanning to make it fun, then we'll be good.
-The Hammerhead - at least make it have the ability to scope and shoot bullets.

Lets make it happen:
-A Vehicle section towards the end of the game much like the final push to the Conduit on Ilos
-Awesome planet exploration (if all sidequests were like overlord, I'd be in awe)
-Five star music - Keep "Uncharted Worlds", and the Mass Effect theme.
-The ability to high-five and interact with any and all crew members on the Normandy.
-Make the most memorable, toughest, fun, crazy, visceral, final boss fight of all time.
-Make endings that will have us cry tears of joy.
-MINIGAMES! - Nothing shuts up hard-core RPG fans more than some really fun mini-games (not hacking or bypassing, something like Qasar or Swoop Racing in Kotor is what I'm talking about).

and most importantly ----

Have a plot twist that makes KotOR's look pathetic, but don't make it so crazy its stupid.

Thats really all I can think of.

Anyways, what squee said, but planet scanning just needs to die. No tweaking, the only remotely not annoying part of it was probing Uranus.

Lets make happen:

Actual tough decisions in ME3.

The paragon/renegade system is little more than a good/evil system because it doesn't take an ends justify the means approach to get something done. Its not really a tough decision when you know you can play as a paragon and not worry about the missions success by not sacrifice anything making renegades completely pointless.
