Hi,
Have just installed Dragon Age 2 and the latest 1.03 patch, when I try to launch the game, I get the error message below. Have also run the DirectX setup in the disk to make sure I have the latest drivers but still no luck.
I have a i5 CPU with ATI Radeon HD 5700 card with 1GB memory running on Direct X 11 as far as I can tell.

C:\\Windows\\system32\\d3dx9_43.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.

Technically speaking, Direct3D contains APIs, not drivers. It is made up of library files (dlls) collected into sets. You have a corrupted dll that hasn't been corrected by running the Dx9 install with the game. You probably need to obtain a different copy of a Microsoft Dx9.0c version to install. The very best place to get it will be from Microsoft directly:
