Are you guys disappointed that Cerberus makes up 40% of the enemies out there?

Honestly I've been waiting to shoot Cerberus operatives in the face since I found out we were working with them in ME2. 40% seems a little much, but I'm not complaining.

Better than ME2s 80% mercs 15% husks  5% collectors and 0.2% other......

We should be grateful that were getting more STORY enemies.

Better than ME1's 95% Geth.  Albeit diffferent types of Geth.

I knew they were going to betray us but I was not expecting them to be one of main vilains just a nuisance we could get rid of and not a pain in the ass that will most likely tag along the entire game

You must not have done any side-missions if your saying that...

It's been a while since I played, but I thin ME1 was the worst in terms of enemy variety. not to say it was glaringly bad. ME2 had a lot of merc fighting, but with the three factions, you got some good variety in terms of their style and strategy, New husks, the mechs, the Klixen, et cetera. I felt it kept things fresh enough.

Fight Cerebus a lot doesn't bother me too much, because it seems like they're going to have a lot of different enemy types under that banner. And like someone pointed out, it'll depend greatly on what the other 60% are like and how well they space things out, pacing wise.

We knew that Cerberus is a fair sized organization, with a lot of cash inflow and so many cells - all of that kind of mess. The Illusive Man did not like to be spread too thin over the control of his organization - you guys know the drill and you talked to EDI to get all of the stats. All in all, according to ME2 Cerberus was not that big of an operation - thats the idea I get from it.

Now they are saying that 40% of the whole games enemies is going to be Cerberus? I think that some devs and writers need to get the facts straight, unless Cerberus is doing a lot of hiring now that the losses for Shepard's recovery, the lazarus Project, and the Normandy SR2 have been pushed behind them. Perhaps these goofballs (cerberus) are running about and helping the reapers to indoctrinate scores of dumdums into their midsts.

I think it will be interesting to see what the Devs and writers will do with the game.

Didn't people complained for having lack of main plot enemy encounters?

I'm complaining about Cerberus *being* the main plot. Or 40% of it.

As long as the Illusive Man and my Collector base are waiting at the end of that 40% with a boss battle, I'm good. Besides, that means the other 60% includes "husk" forces, indoctrinated beings, and maybe mercs/ random dudes.

However, I hope that there are enough synthetic enemies in the game. You know, so AI hacking actually comes in handy more often...

I'm not sure if people did, but I felt ME2 needed to spend more time on the main plat and the main plots enemies.  As for Cerberus being 40% if they do a decent job of explaining why you are fighting them I'm fine with it.  I highly doubt they will since they did a horrible job of explaiining why you worked for them in ME2.  For end game the reapers are here almost everything has to be connected to fighting the reapers, but indocrinated foes are connected.  So mercs, cerberus(as with mercs it works when its some of them, not all of them), civilians all legitimate threats in ME3 IMO.

May I ask why?

Interacting with a more 'human' enemy is what was missing from ME2, imo. And I personally only find Cerberus tiring when the storyline is about one of their operatives, or doing their dity work in general.

I bet that I'll find killing them most enjoyable. :wizard:

Lucky you: I'll be spending the entire game going "But I want that armor! And that stun tonfa! And those jump boots!"

I'm sure you'd look much better in Asari commando leathers.

Yeah - I think 40% is too high.

Its too much shooting humans - you know - like the other 75 shooters coming out in the next year.

But that said, if the other 60% is massive variety of alien races, reaper foot soldiers and so on. Then it probably won't be too bad.

Cerberus tried to take my manly Asari Commando leathers in ME2!

NEVER AGAIN

Okay, I'll stop posting non-constructive stuff now.

I'll have to see how it's implemented, especially how they explain how a group as small as Cerberus was able to spawn an army that makes up 40% of the enemies. My hopes aren't high, though.

I will only be disapointed if the Cerberus troops are used as cannon fodder time filler and we never get to the head of the organization or there is no real point to it all. If I am going to have to fight these SOB's for most of the game, I better be able to put an incendiary round into The Illusive Mans head at the end of it all.

Kind of tired recent games who drag out the story forever and lose interest in the frigging game before they ever actually tie up any part of the story!

After killing all those Cerberus agents and the attack on Earth there might not be enough humans left to repopulate the race when we get done saving the galaxy.

I hope Miranda put those Lazarus Project files someplace safe!
