I am asking for a little help here.

I've been posting a long story I wrote last month.  In this story, I have Shepard agreeing to an exclusive interview with Emily Wong.  Shepard is willing to talk about anything but her personal life.  That is off limits and will cause Shepard to walk out of the interview.

What I would like is people input on questions Emily Wong would ask Shepard.  I did not put the actual interview in the story.  I did that to make the interview a one shot story.

I'm not looking for smartalic type questions or responses here.  But what people think would be some of the questions Wong would ask Shepard.  I will give credit to those that help me with this.  I can come up with them on my own.  I just thought it would be fun to ask others, so I really could write it like an actual interview

Thanks in advance.

Why is it that Garrus and Tali have such importance in the Mass Effect trilogy?

Go away King Zeel. This hasn't nothing to do with that.

Do you not know how to read or actually understand what what written?

Make your fictional Emily Wong ask the even more fictional Shepard that.

Write your own fanfic and be happy.  You are a tool, I have said this to you before.  Why go on every thread on this subsection and complain about Tali and Garrus.  We get it, you don't like them.  Stop railroading every thread with your stupidty.

I suppose that depends on Commander Shepard's background and what decision he/she made in the game.

"Why did you choose to work with Cerberus?  Was it undercover work for the Alliance?"

If it were me, I would ask where he had been the past two years. Follow ups would be what is his current relationship witht he Alliance and what, if anything, can he tell me about what he is doing now.

What do they like best about being a soldier/what do they dislike, do you have any regrets, hey I know you've got buddies that are X race what do you think about Y, do you think you'll always be doing this?

And the standard how has your life changed, what do you hope for the galaxy in the near future.

I was thinking of doing something like this, to add to my "Alliance Profile" blog. I eventually gave up though, since I'm not that great of a writer, and I'm sorta busy. Here are a few of the questions I remember writing down. I think I had 10 in total, a few personal ones, mainly political though, and I tried to avoid things that would be classified.

What is your favorite place you have visited, and why?
Do you think Spectres have too much power?
What is your opinion on the Alliance's job of protecting human colonies?
What do you think of humanity's leadership? And do you think humanity is going in the right direction?
What do you think humanity adds to the galatic community?

The questions should be obvious.

"What is the story behind the reports of your death?"

"Is it true you worked with Cerberus, a listed terrorist organization?"

"You were sighted on Omega and Ilium recently, what were you doing there?"

"Rumors said you were gathering around you a host of criminals and cutthroats, would like to elaborate?"

"Do you still believe the galaxy is in danger from a race of sentient machines you referred to as, "The Reapers"?"

Those type of questions would work if my story was set inbetween ME2 and ME3, but my story is set after the Reapers defeat.  I could add some of those in just for info.  Good questions.

To everyone else, thanks for the responses.  I now have something more to ponder before putting it down on paper/word doc anyway.  :o

Probably the quintessential question that can be asked:

If you had it to do over again, what would you have done differently?

I think I will use that, because that is a hard question to answer.  Off the top of my head right now, I'm like uhmmmm.  I can get a good answer for it.  Thanks.

If your Shepard isn't a universal one, but is shown as having a particular background or pre-service history, Emily Wong could ask about that.

"Given the effect batarians slavers had on your early life, how do you feel about heavy batarian losses during the fight against the Reapers?" Just one possible example.

Maybe some of these.

"Commander Shepard after your recent victory over the rogue Spectre and his army of Geth how do you feel your past experiences such as [insert important life event] have prepared you for becoming a formidable Council Spectre?"

"Are the rumors true that you had a hand in picking a Human council member?"

"Will you care to give us any knowledge of your future Spectre operations that you may be involved in?"

"Many criticize your [insert choice at the battle of the Citadel]. What was your rationale for picking that specific course of action and do you regret your decision?"

These are just a few random questions I came up with for you.

Why not put your fanfic on hold until after ME3 comes out? You'll have even more material to work with.

I'm assuming that by 'personal life' questions you are referring to family and/or love interests and not reasons why she made certain decisions.

Question 1: How did Shepard decide to join the military? (This will be of course be related to the type of history you chose for your FanFic Shepard).

Question 2: What went through Shepard's mind when the Council decided to make him/her a Specter, especially since it seems that it seemed more politically motivated than the normal Specter appointment?

Question 3: What is Shepard's thoughts on the current human Council member? (I know this can border on personal, but Wong doesn't know that)

Question 4: What lead up to and why did Shepard agree to work with Cerberus?

Question 5: Why did Shepard destroy/keep the Collector base?

Question 6: What does Shepard think about the upcoming trial about what he/she did to the Alpha Relay and the resulting Batarian deaths?

I wrote it before E3 even had anything.   It's already completed as well.  I might go back and rework it after I played through ME3, but I left a lot of vagueness about how the Reapers were defeated.  So I could go back and rework it if I go that route.

It was something that was in my brain since LotSB which I played the day it was released.

@Raydiva-  You are quite right about the personal stuff.  My Shep is with Liara and both are very famous and would very much like to keep their private life just that private.  Anything before Shep joined the Alliance will be ok.  Shep did give her conditions to the interview that I will go into more detail when Shep meets up with Wong.
