I always like Tormod's zesty personality and who doesn't love ginger.  Too bad he never got older than 15 or so.  He would have made a great gay.  Plus he was all about equal rights!

Because being selfish like that is bad. Wanting a character to be gay even if it ruins their character in the end for your own playthrough is an extremely selfish act. Some people may like it, sure, but there's MANY different Shepards out there with MANY different people playing them. Not everyone will like it if it goes badly, just like people didn't like how Tali or Anders came onto you.

The remarkable thing is, actual romance in a Bioware game is a very small part of it. The bulk of it's talking and killing.

Seriously though, I'm excited for s/s romances, but I do hope they bring in new characters and at the very least don't let have an effect on existing relationships. I think what many people who are against s/s romances don't realize is that, while yes a lot of it is fanservice to *squee*-ing fangirls, it's also a landmark in video game history. Outside of Bioware we've never really seen gay protagonists in a serious gay relationship that isn't played for laughs. So at the very least you have to realize that while it might be annoying to some it IS a huge step forward for video games in that regard.

tormod reminded me of naruto alot, but i still liked him, but ike and soren are the best gay couple ever because everyone was okay with, mainly because throughout the course of two very long games the prooved to the gamers they deserved to be together at least in my view, at least soren did.

Can these threads just stop until we get new information? The same thing happens over and over again, and they always end terribly and with personal insults. There are clearly different opinions here. People are not going to change their minds.

The only possible merit to all this is that the devs get fed up and give us the information early, in the hopes that we'll all quiet down. Not that it would happen, but hey, we can dream.
