Idea: Give Shepard an option to side with the Reapers.

Of course, joining the Reapers is an option that can't be taken lightly, and must be written incredibly well for it to be believable in any way whatsoever.
Who knows, maybe Shepard can become a Reaper and fight against the Alliance, the geth, the quarians... Wouldn't that fun?

IDK about this. Shepard is supposed to be the good guy (for the most part). Even renegade choices are often the cut and dry take no chances leave no prisoners no nonsense route to ultimately achieving the same goals as paragon Shep. Siding with the reapers is pretty evil. The only way it would work is if some how the reapers logic could be twisted enough in order to be looked at in some sort of positive good for everyone in the end way.
P.S. I hope i made sense. I'm tired.
Exactly. The Reapers must have a purpose, and that purpose must align with Shepard's logic if this choice is to be believable.

That would have to mean, though, that it can only happen at the very end. And it should only be available if the Reapers are winning the war.

Yeah, let's make all the previous games a complete waste of time. Why not?
The hell?
It wouldn't be the only ending. It's a video game, you still played through all of them for all the other things.
The destination isn't what matters, it's the journey...ever heard that phrase?
Come on man, think.

Great idea. Then how about Shepard is made immortal and replaces the keepers on the Citadel.

Why not? Since we were railroaded into working for Cerberus (they've been an enemy since ME1). If they see Shepard as an enemy (renegade), why not become one? It's no different then the idea that TIM is working for them (Indoctrination is of little relevence regarding my point).
In other words, it's all right if TIM's with them because he's "the bad guy," yet, can't he be calling their bluff, too? That wouldn't necessarily make him "the good guy." Yet, everybody and his or her mama b****ed because of Shepard's temporary "allegiance" to Cerberus. But no, we can't have TIM as the good guy, but we certainly can't have Shepard
turn.
I really don't see this happenng unless it's like "TIM calling their bluff," deal. No better way to take out an enemy getting cozy with them before putting them down! (Wait, this just went some place horrible!)

I agree, if they will have bi options they might as well give a OPTION to join the reapers if everything else seem lost and hopeless. again its a option not something that will be forced on you, otherwise you can have your shepard fight until death with all he got instead if you choose to.

Why? The Reapers want to destroy life and nuke us in their microwave to make smoothies for their baby. Why in the name of God would the person who has done nothing but stall them and essentially flip them the bird at every which way suddenly decide that hey, decimating the milky way and letting us all die- painfully- so some floating turd ships can be even more powerful is a good idea?
Just no.
I don't think that's what the OP means. I think alot are over-reacting to due feelings of contrivance and that's not always so.

With all due respect-
STOP POSTING YOUR IDEAS
we have had enough of them (i.e. supernatural elements, trilogy being a dream, VS working for
reapers,shepard commiting sucide, ect)
sincerely, the rest of us.
P.S. no it wouldn;t be fun
