So in the first NWN you could talk to NPC's and move between areas individually as each player. In NWN2 its set in a way where if one person talks to an NPC everyone gets paused while it happens and when someone moves to another area, everyone goes with them automatically. Is there a way to disable this function when doing multiplayer?
I'v heard people on these forums mention servers capable of handling up to 80 players but that'd be kinda awkward if everyones gettin forced transitioned and stuck in npc dialog windows all the time O_o

That's a setting on the specific conversation. Rest assured Persistant Worlds know what they're doing and don't do that.
Playing the official campaigns, you can't just check a single setting a change it, you'd have to go into the toolset and change them all individually.
