How about adding a real homosexual to the team?

I support having all romances bisexual because it allows the greatest number of players the greatest amount of choice. But I also want to see characters that are gay. It doesn't have to be a big thing. Just sort of... incidental information, like Cedric in The Witcher 2 or like Diana in "White Collar."

Ah. I see what you mean, a non-romanceable gay/lesbian npc, right? It's okay, I think. But I don't think a gay/lesbian only LI would work.

I know it's completely vogue to make love interests bisexual these days, but I really want to see a real homosexual in ME3. A man or woman who would reject the advances of the opposite sex. A man or woman who isn't afraid to say that yes, he/she is gay, and they don't like women or men.
Radical idea, I know, but it would make some of the homosexual romances a little more believable. A gay-only character. What do you guys think?
Making an actual homosexual character instead of just making everyone bi?
Sure, /support.

I really like this^ idea. It could go a long way to building bridges.

Exactly. I purely homosexual romance will never happen, because it's simply not an economical use of resources. And, let's face it, denying gays an LI is more okay than denying straights an LI. Thankfully, DAII has started to break down that notion (naturally, with much outcry from the entitled majority).
But that doesn't mean we shouldn't see gay characters. Maybe Dr. Chakwas is a lesbian. Maybe Joker is gay. Maybe Anderson is gay. These are situations that I would love to see, as long they were handled tastefully.

Okay, just because I like you so much, Ish's Fantasy ME3 now features Joker as romanceable by either gender.
He needs a replacement. I know, EDI! She's only into girl AIs.

Making an actual homosexual character instead of just making everyone bi?Isn't there like an entire giant spectrum of other option between these two. Like for example having 2 characters bi out of 17? Or maybe one? Or maybe 1 new ****** character and one old bi? Why can't you imagine 1/2 bi characters out of 17?
Why does it immediately have to be all 17 bi characters, why is it the only option?
..because the OP asked about making a character gay so I responded in support?
Maybe your beef is with the OP..?

That was from my experience with what they did to DA2 because of the calls for it.
They did it. Poorly.
In trying to please everyone, Bioware just pissed a lot of people off.
Some gay, some bi, some straight <- No problem with this.
Making everyone bi just because it's easy <- No. It's a sad way out.

Maybe you already have a gay person on the team. But maybe, just maybe. That person has interests outside of being gay.

Hipster.
One hardly needs to be a Hipster to be annoyed at the multiple threads being started to discuss essentially the same topic. Reminds me of the good old days when half the active threads were Talimance demand threads, and the other half ended up getting derailed by Talimancers.

You do realize the mutliple threads are typically by people arguing against it not for it right?
