But with Ashley,I do not really need Jack. So she is kind of interchangeable for Liara or Garrus. I can deal with any of them being my fourth.

Garrus, Legion and VS are all I really need.

However, I do see Legion playing an important role in the story, so if it's only with Shepard for a mission or two (albeit with significant plot importance outside of said missions) I will be content.

Dang. A lot of people are taking Tali and Garrus for a ride (including myself)!

-Wrex-because it is Wrex
-Legion-only because we had so little time with him in ME2. I don't particularly love him, but would like more time with the character.
-Liara-popular character, likely the chosen love interest of almost anyone that play ME1 the first time
-Ashley/Kaidan


Mordin I do want back as a big part of the game, but I don't really care if he can ever go on a mission. IMHO he can have a huge impact on the game, tons of dialog, and still never leave the Normandy lab. I can see him as a very important character, who never has to fire a shot or see combat this time around.

Not really as easyer way would be just have poll to see what squad members people favor..
