Yes Morinth, if she really wanted to kill me I would already be dead. Besides,  she kinda owes me her life.

She does want to kill you. The only problem is, if you got her on your team, it's 'cause you're to strong willed for her "normal" charms to work. So she has to go about the old fasioned way of, not only convincing you to "mate", but also convince you that the process won't kill you.

She wants to kill me while she thinks that I'm just a clubing idiot, then I save her life from Samara. She is a very strong biotic that can match Samara, and I was standing right there with no weapons or armor with Samara dead on the floor, if she wanted to kill me I would be dead. I know what happens if you mate with her, but I believe she REALLY didn't want shepard to die and believed what she said, it was just and acident. Besides killing Shepard on his own ship is a suicide since she will get executed right away, and she's all for survival.
