Queer doesn't neccesarily mean homosexual/bisexual it means deviating from the sexual norm which he obviously has.  I wouldn't be horribly surprised if he decided to play for both teams when it came to humans simply because it's so alien.  I do admit the logic isn't perfect but it's not entirely flawed as truthfully the only thing I can see a turian finding attractive about a human is it's personality.

The romances were only intended to be a minor aspect of Bioware games to begin with. Remove them all? If that's what it would take to end this nonsense. It would be a damn shame however.

Never heard of queer being used in that manner. Regardless, even FemShep and Liara have a brief discussion of how they are both women, and asari are a monogendered race. Garrus ever being interested in MaleShep seems extremely unlikely to me.

Impending alcoholism? Never presume somebody isn't yet drunk on the internet. My point is the romances in general have been taken to absurd levels by some in the community. I consider the S/S group an extension of that.

And I can understand your reasoning,  I don't see a particular problem in that line of thinking.  Things aren't really clear cut though,  and neither group is ever going to see eye to eye.  The argument's though will keep continuing just because neither group is willing to budge.  I know of course that the hetero only crowd thinks they're right just as much as the ****** inclusive crowd.  It would of course be best if neither camp accused the other of trying to ruin each others fun or fantacism or what have you.  We're all oppinionated bastards but it would be best if we didn't treat each other like dirt.

The argument with Garrus is that he's more pansexual than anything. He doesn't really think Shepard has a "bangin bod" he's attracted to her mind. So in that sense he could just as likely get with maleshep.

I see your point and I agree in principle. Romance requests seem to be getting a bit out of hand, but I suppose it's become one of BioWare's main selling points, so I don't see them dropping it anytime soon.

Another nail in the coffin, I would say, but I suppose that would sound too extreme.

Indeed I'm damned tired of hearing it, seeing the banners, etc. So why would I celebrate anything? In my opinion it has always been a distraction that could have been used making other content. I'm sure there are countless reasonable homosexuals out there, ones who don't feel a compulsive need for gay LIs in a video game, or don't define themselves around their sexuality like many here seem to do. You're right about the character and LI section, but I'm not fond of the fact that Bioware actually decided to pander to one of the irrational groups out there, most developers seem to ignore such groups and let them do their thing.

Also you seem to want to be rational and I respect that.

I'm a heterosexual. My sexuality defines alot of who I am. It certainly effects everything. I still consider myself reasonable.
