From what I've seen, people on both sides of this argument tend to bigoted or biased to some extent (although those against the introduction are more frequently). There aren't enough people who start these threads with an open-minded attitude, and at the moment they invariably become voided of value for those willing to have a genuine discussion. A large portion of the community is guilty of this (myself not excluded at times).
While some of the anti S/S threads are undeniable examples of "trolling", genuine arguments from this group seem to degenerate because they are attacked and condemned from those in support of the majority, pro-argument. In this case, those against are held responsible for trolling. On the other hand, if pro S/S threads are attacked and condemned by those against, those against are again always held responsible for bigotry. I suppose this situation isn't totally unjustifiable, as the BSN is constructed more for the more liberal minded. I suppose what I'm actually trying to say is that people who will perpetually and violently disagree should either stop posting threads (which is unlikely) or just keep the hell away from each other's; because no-one's really listening, just hating.

Being a gay I dont get why its such a big deal.

Why does Bioware catering to me and my tastes in addition to everyone elses (where they didnt previously) offend anyone at all?
Its not like Bioware would force you to romance someone you didnt want to. They have learned from the Ninjamancing problem (this was one thing DA2 did well).

So I really don't see the problem.

Why does me getting extra content have to be a big deal?
