Right.

So I did all the quests, got all the allies, saved the bloody Queen Anora, did the whole Alienage bit and then Arl Eammon told me to meet him at the royal palace to begin the Landsmeet. I go, and because I had no idea how absurdly armed Cauthrien's crew was before, I ended up getting captured so at the Royal palace, when Cauthrien showed up I was more than ready for round two.

Beat her, killed her, cut off her head, picked up her sword, strode forward.....

And the doors further into the chamber are locked. Will not open. Nothing remains of Cauthrien or those with her save some bones on the floor, but I can go no further and resetting my xbox, in addition to going to other areas and getting into other battles, has done nothing.

Oh, and I was supposed to meet Arl Eamon at the Palace but he either never showed up, or is past the metal doors that I can't go through.

Please help!

I'm reluctant to say it is a bug; more likely a glitch.

As you suspect Arl Eamon is beyond the metal doors (he's already in the Landsmeet). If I recall, there should be an autosave just as you enter the Royal Palace before the Cauthrien fight. I would suggest loading that (if you have it) and replay that bit to see if the game updates correctly.

Oh god, I don't think there is one, an autosave I mean.*goes to check*

My god if I have to do this whole bloody game all over again....

EDIT: Ugh. Going back to the autosave doesn't help me. Going to have to do it all over. Hn... maybe I'll get with Allister this go round... Zevran... has begun to bore me and being Queen might be nice....

Sorry to hear that. In future make sure you have several separate saves just in case. Saving often is the key to avoiding a lot of wasted time (as fun as the game is).
