Run the Updater to get the latest hotfixes.

This hotfix also includes the missing subdirectories from the q_Items archive. If you have downloaded the Q v1.4 full HAKs, these files will be overwritten. This is normal.

Furthermore, if you have downloaded the Q v1.4 full HAKs you should run the updater anyway as there are hotfixes and a last minute addition that are not found in that archive. These will be available in Q v1.5 also.

Sometimes, it helps when folks place links in signatures or messages.

Since Pstemarie forgot to do that, I will provide you with the help.

So... is there a version log or something? Last time I ran the updater, it took a loooong time for it to update from 1.3 to 1.4 If the hotfix will take more than 30 minutes I'd rather wait for 1.5 to come out :)

The hotfix consists of a half-dozen files or so plus the missing subdirectories for q_items. I can't tell you how it long it will take cause I don't know your connection speed, but I can tell you its about 6.8 MB in size.

Thanks Pstemarie! It's quite small, but is there a text file or something where we can see what is being updated? Previous Q releases used to have a change log included... Sorry if I'm being a pain in the rear, but the update from 1.3 to 1.4 took me more than an hour, and I'm on a 512 service.

Update: It actualy took less than 10 minutes this time.

Thanks, Six, though the hotfix now includes the release docs, which is great! Anyway, I've scoured the hak paks and found lots of great little details being added, placeables and creatures I can use to override my game. I know this may not be the best place to make a request, but I've been consistently overriding NPC's, creatures, tilesets, placeables, etc. using your work, and hope you tackle more NPC characters, seeing as your versions of bandits, Purple Dragon Knights and many other NPC's are far superior from Bioware's.

Eventually, I'd like to override just about every NPC BioWare made.
