A potential idea is a prototype scaled up GARDIAN laser/particle beam cannon with large focussing lenses and high powered particle accelerators powered by multiple fusion reactors and build into the hull of a dreadnaught.The layout would be as follows:foward section and bow would house the scaled up GARDIAN laser/particle beam cannon,midsection living quarters with the bridge above it on plyons and connected to the living quarters via high-speed lifts and finally the stern which would house the reactors,sublight engines,ftl drive core,life support,antimatter containment chambers,fuel tanks for the reactors and sublight engines,liquid nitrogen coolant tanks and finally disruptor torpedo and nuclear weapon storage bays.
On the design for the special dreadnaught i was thinking what it would look like and i thought maybe it would like something like this the midsection and stern would be shaped like the Spirit of Fire from Halo Wars and the bow would be like the UNSC In Amber Clad from Halo 2 which is a UNSC frigate.

You're over complicating things. You'd probably get more energy by moving out system, accelrating towards the reapers as quickly as you could and then tossing your garbage out of the air lock. Sir Isaac Newton is the deadliest son-of-a-**** in space after all.

I have an idea that combines two ideas into one. Maybe fusion torches like the ones seen in bring down the sky were modifyed and eqquiped with warheads containing multiple self-propelled and guided antimatter warheads and launched from a enlarged and modifyed freighter.The freighter could have launch tubes built into it's hull and the freighter could have matter/antimatter engines like Citadel and Systems Alliance navy ships have and a oversized ftl drive core so it could pop out of ftl flight launch the missiles and go back into ftl flight and head back to base to be re-armed with more missiles and i doubt the Reapers could hit a long slender target such as the antimatter warhead eqquiped fusion torches.
