Probably Steven Barr. I'm probably wrong, I haven't watched it in a while. I'm sure we're likely fine in that regard.

I'm thinking back to the E3 demo (and some of the lines from the beta) and remembering that it wasn't Barr, but yeah, now that I think harder on it, I do believe it was the right guy helming Wrex during the conversation sequences, at least.

I'm thinking of compiling a list of major characters whose voice actors we haven't yet had confirmed as returning. You know, like, I'm sure there's no way in hell they'd change her voice (but then, that's what I've always felt about Mordin; still hoping for the best) but have we actually heard Tali yet, for instance? Or anything from her voice actress confirming her return?

No, but if I remember correctly Tali was confirmed as a squad mate, I'd guess they wouldn'tchange the voice of one of the main characters that is participating in all 3 games.

Lol. We don't wanna give them any ideas if they actually do plan on contacting Beattie sometime soon.

ive played ME2 enough to know if it didn't sound like Mordin. It was Mordin. Definitely. It just didn't sound like they had polished the quality yet. Anderson sounded the same in his parts.

Well, given the date on Beattie's email (and assuming the email is real) it can't have been him.

It's not him, Mark Meer if I'm correct , doing a nice job at it I might add.

Mark Meer did a placeholder voice for Mordin in the E3 Demo. Not the BETA Leak. Get it right and stop confusing everyone. All you're doing is making people panic when there is no need.

Mordin sounded like Mordin. Just like Wrex sounded like Wrex. There is no problem. Just relax people. Dayum.

When did Bioware announce the voice actors for ME2?

BioWare announced the voice actors on December 10, 2009, less than two months before the release of Mass Effect 2 on January 26, 2010.

By that metric, they've got plenty of time to spill the beans on voice acting. We'd expect an announcement sometime in Janaury if we assume Bioware's working on a similar release timetable as they were with Mass Effect 2.

Then again, almost all of the characters were forgettable aside from Jack.

I don't agree at all. He was one of the most memorable characters and none were "forgettable" IMO. I'll be sad if he's replaced but it's not a deal breaker.

then maybe EA is going with a different VA for his role .  VA do not come cheap and maybe EA has decided that only a few main characters will get their original VA back for ME 3 .remember he was not a main character in 3 . Shepard . Miranda . TIM, are the main ones from ME 2 . outside of the ones like Wrex and Liara as well Garrus .
