Before you try to to say posts like these I'm claiming it. Claimed.

In all seriousness, after playing several characters decently far into the game I'd say.....Not being able to disable Player Character action voices. Everytime I open a chest, open a door, scratch my @#$, my Human Noble (Violent Voice) insists on saying "Can I give you a ladder so you can get off my back!....." Over and over and over again.

Only way to disable this is by turning off Dialogue Volume all together which makes the game quite boring as you all know.

/sigh

The fuzziness in the fade. It hurts my eyes.

I have to say "Can I give you a ladder so you can get off my back!" is pretty annoying.

The camp merchant's line about browsing his wares is getting annoying. I JUST WANT TO BROWSE. I KNOW I HAVE A DISCOUNT. AAAARGH.

Lack of joinable female characters and lack of much choice in the mage/rogue NPC department.

Hard to choose between the fuzziness of the fade and no queue for commands.

I have to say the massively overdone gore/blood is not only annoying, its actually ruining the experience for me to the point where Im laughing at how ricidulous it is.

I mean seriously, you kill a rat and it looks like you flawed a 1000 cows open while standing under them.

Pretty dumb.

Oh and the lack of classes/skills... I dont know.. Its just not doing it for me.

Too many cutscenes..

I don't like companions. I want to be able to use my right of conscription in every single town on the map and snatch some of the hottest NPCs for my team. Ser Cauthrien for example. Or Gorim. Or that moustachey militia commander from Redcliffe. Or many many more. :-)

This way I'd have more options for building my character. Now I need to be the DPS-er since none of the Bioware-built characters can even dream about being somewhere near the damage levels a well built player character delivers.

Mine are only nickpicking.

  • Glowing auras in discussions/cutscenes
  • The dog barking in camp when I'm trying to talk to the npcs close to it.
  • Can I give you a ladder so you can get off my back! every 9 seconds
  • Tooltips text is way too small
  • Merchands with something to say before opening the trade window when I select the shopping option. (Worse offender is the dwarf in your camp)
  • Dragon Armor looks horrible
  • I can't seem to block a door with my melee characters. Enemies just squeeze through no matter what.
  • The way how NPC auto-level when they join your party. I would love them to start at level 3 for exemple and then YOU select their points.

no jumping

not being able to store items in any container you come across, like you could in BG1 and BG2

needing to visit every significant area in the game to progress the plot, so multiple playthroughs are less varied. it'd have been better if the Blight advanced as you completed major missions

not having many optional areas to visit at all

1. That you can just steal from people, from a royal palace, from anything ... without any real reprecussions.

2. Mages got so many talents, rogues and warriors so few?

3. Tactics, shouldnt really have to spend points creating a viable party AI. (there is a mod for this though)

4. Unlocking certain specialisations is too much of a hassle, not so much the first time around, but when you play the game for the second or third time. (although there is a mod for this too).

5. AI is too darn dumb.

6. Too many poor soldiers with nothing in their pockets :-)

No Spell Descriptions or Debuff Timers for your Offensive Debuffs takes my #1 now that I think about it.

Heroic Defense should be changed from "Gives a boost to defense and slight boost to Spell Resistances" to "The effects of this spell are unknown, study your character window and status with multiple controlled trials and uses to find out more."

The only thing the gets me is the 4 character limit. These characters are so unique and refreshing it really make those long crawls worth it. It would be nice to have at least a 5 person party. I cant tell you how many times I found myself dying lauging with the conversation between Wynne and Allistair. Love them. But hey we have a mod community and I have no doubts we will get this before long. So Im prob splitting hairs here.

If you have the PC version, you can skip any conversations by pressing escape so you don't have to sit through it.

The worst thing is without doubt the Warden's Keep. This is something that should have been included with the game, but was deliberately withheld just to make a few more bucks, and I'm not going to encourage them by buying it.

Another thing I hate is not being able to respec my talents, as I picked some that weren't that great back when I was still learning the game, and have better things I could have spent those points on.

I do love being able to steal from people in their homes with them watching; it's like they're so used to being ransacked by heavily armed gangs that they don't even notice or care anymore.
