Millions of humanoids will have died from this conflict.

Shepard is a hero.  Add 2+2.

Love interests: once you pop can you stop?

Would this be a feasible ending?

i could see some kind of DLC or future ME spinoff with orgies taking place in the MEuniverse, but in i dont see it happening in a game like ME3.

although i do disagree with what i just said.

"Repopulation" orgy... That only really works if you're playing ManShep, doesn't it? For FemShep there's pretty much just the one go and then you get to guess who the father is nine months later.

Earth is overpopulated in the future. The Reaper attack is a necessary culling. There should be strict 1:1 reproduction policies enacted for the betterment of all remaining.

I was trying to keep this Mass Effect related. The population of Earth in Mass Effect has almost doubled from what it is now. Even if it's debatable that Earth is overpopulated now, there's no question that it is in the game's setting.

Hopefully this poorly transcribed piece of '80s gold will change your tune:

Ah we can dance if we want to, we can leave your friends behind
Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance
Well they're are no friends of mine
I say, we can go where we want to, A place where they will never find
And we can act like we come from out of this world
Leave the real one far behind,
and we can dance

We can dance if we want to, we can leave your friends behind
Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance
Well they're are no friends of mine
I say, we can go where we want to a place where they will never find
And we can act like we come from out of this world
Leave the real one far behind
and we can dance.

Francois!

Ah we can go when we want to the night is young and so am I
And we can dress real neat from our hats to our feet
and surprise 'em with the victory cry
I Say we can act if want to if we don't nobody will
And you can act real rude and totally removed
And i can act like an imbecile

I say we can dance, we can dance everything out control
We can dance, we can dance we're doing it wall to wall
We can dance, we can dance everybody look at your hands
We can dance, we can dance everybody takin' the chance
Safety dance

Oh well the safety dance
Ah yes the safety dance

Ssss-Aaaa-Ffff-Eeee-Tttt-Yyyy
Safety-Dance

We can dance if we want to, we've got all your life and mine
As long as we abuse it, never gonna lose it
Everything'll work out right
I say, we can dance if we want to we can leave your friends behind
Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance
Well they're are no friends of mine

I say we can dance, we can dance everything out control
We can dance, we can dance we're doing it wall to wall
We can dance, we can dance everybody look at your hands
We can dance, we can dance everybody's takin' the chance

Oh Well the safety dance
ah yes the safety dance
Oh well the safety dance
Oh well the safety dance
Oh yes the safety dance
Oh the safety dance yeah
Oh it's the safety dance

It's the safety dance

Well it's the safety dance
Oh it's the safety dance
Oh it's the safety dance
Oh it's the safety dance
Oh it's the safety dance

Earthlings didn't go settle in that big thing called "space?"

Still, I said humanoid.  I expect more races dead.  It IS a galactic war after all.

There certainly is a question.  The amount of population that can be supported by the planet is dependant on technology, and ME technology is incomparably superior to current technology.

The codex says of earth
"The homeworld and capital of humanity is entering a new golden age. The resource wealth of a dozen settled colonies and a hundred industrial outposts flows back to Earth, fueling great works of industry, commerce, and art. The great cities are greening as arcology skyscrapers and telecommuting allow more efficient use of land."

Selective quoting doesn't fool me.

It goes on to say:

Earth is still divided among nation-states, though all are affiliated beneath the overarching banner of the Systems Alliance. While every human enjoys longer and better life then ever, the gap between rich and poor widens daily. Advanced nations have eliminated most genetic disease and pollution. Less fortunate regions have not progressed beyond 20th century technology, and are often smog-choked, overpopulated slums.Sea levels have risen two meters in the last 200 years, and violent weather is common due to environmental damage inflicted during the late 21st century. The past few decades, however, have seen significant improvement due to recent technological advances.

And many aliens regard Earth as a polluted, overpopulated slum compared to the homeworlds of other species who have possessed this technology much longer.
