And the funny thing is; we DID atcually shoot the final boss (mass effect 2) in the eye and the final boss did indeed fall ^^

 I find this is a bad idea. If they died, they should remain dead. Plus if a lot of them probably don't have a body to use anymore after they die.

By the way this reminded me of something Joker can say in ME2.
"If Mom could see me now, we'd have zombies on top of everything else"

Why do people always bring this up? If a squadmate died he/she is dead, they're not coming back. It would feel very stupid to bring back dead people.

I'm quite sure TIM feels the same way about my Shepards, without control chips, that blew up the base

The one who died at Virmire pops up and tells Shepard they were rebuilt, and proceeds to yell at Shep, saying it was his/her fault s/he died. They attack, and Shepard re-kills them.

...Only to realize they were never there at all. Reaper influence has gotten to Shepard, and in a moment of delusion, s/he hallucinated and actually shot a companion.

Yeah because no one in Mass Effect has ever died and been brought back to life before.  That would just be ridiculous.  I actually completely agree with that.
