I just picked up Dragon Age 2 Signature Edition but when I came here to create this account and redeem my code for the signature content, I accidentally tied it to an alternative email account, not the one associated with my Xbox live account, is it possible to change the email account that is associated with my live account?

Sounds like a job for EA support. Contact them and explain the situation and they should be able to resolve the issue for you.

To ensure we can get this resolved for you quickly, please contact our Customer Experience team at http://support.ea.com and select "Contact Us." Make sure you have your account information, email address, Gamertag/PSN ID, date of birth and any billing information on the account to assist the agent in the verification process.
Once the agent has verified ownership, they will work with you to ensure this mistake is corrected.
