Alien characters are held to a lower a standard than the human ones. It's the reason why Tali is liked better than Kaidan in ME1 even though the latter has better characterization. Garrus would be in the same boat as Kaidan if he were human.

I don't think it is that.  The doesn;t play by the rules cop is an awesome cliche, we woulnd't have 1/2 the awesome action mvoies we did if this cliche didn't exist.  Also people I like in real life would be really boring to see in a game.  What makes a character great in a game/movie are frequently traits you'd hate to deal with in your real life.

That's true. If Garrus was a human, people would likely call him whiny (and not space batman).

Harbinger is probably not the (boss) If you look up the definition of harbinger it is basically the guy who foretells future events or is the messenger.

Yeah, so important that the comic for ME1 doesn't even mention it.

They weren't terribly important to the central plot. They were just mooks. You could have replaced them with mercenaries if you wanted.

They were a plot-device. So was the cipher.

The geth seem pretty important if you ask me.

I hate Tali. I hope the quarians, which I also hate, turns out to be an insectoid race or something equally bizarre. In fact I never bothered in my first playthrough of ME1 to actually talk to her, after I tried to turn her down as help on the Normandy and Anderson overruled me...
I liked the Mako much more than the Hammerhead, what a paper tank.
Grunt is overdone, there is nothing to his character but "I want to FIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT", no character depth at all.

-Jack is the most attractive female in the game to date. BW did an AMAZING job on her face. Happy shes in ME3 but wary of her redesign

-Morinth should not have became Samara. The crew listens to Shep and follows his orders, so if Shep saw fit to kill off Samara and recruit Morinth then that should be out in the open.

-The confrontation between Shep and Wrex on Virmire was unrealistic. He was a squaddie the whole game and then over the course of one conversation we are ready to kill each other? it escalated WAY too quick, and wasnt believeable.

-I Hate Captain Anderson's VA. yea yea yea i know hes famous and stuff but every voice over he does just grates on my ears.

-Bioware listens to its fans WAAAAAY too much. actually... lemme rephrase. Bioware has a knack for listening to the wrong fans. This is why bioware put a personnel nuclear cannon in the game, and did away with all the rpg elements. Now we have gay romances up the wazoo and Jack will be getting hair... Bioware, get a spine.

-All Quarians have annyoing voices. like a hundred times worse than Anderson's.

-While i LOVE ME's story.. there NEEDS to be more CATSUITS. More stealthy, light armor for my femshep infiltrator.

ME3 is dire need of an Awesome Button.

The opening scene of the game should be a sniper sight view of Miranda's head, which promptly explodes.

Wreav should be a bi LI option. Wrex should be gay only.

Urz is the only character in ME2 to experience rational character development.

Shepard MUST choose between keeping the Krogan genophage or sterilizing the Asari.

EDI should be replaced by Avina.

Every character MUST have at least one air quote scene.

Obviously, people like the game over all. Otherwise we wouldn't all be posting on this forum, or any other.... Not everything is going to be just as you want it, so you may as well hang on to all of those pros, and not go over board about the minor(yes, most of the flaws mentioned here are) ones....
That being said.... I hate Jack.
