I liked how Grunt gets lectured by Garrus on what not to say when Grunt makes a comment about burning bodies on Mordin's recruitment. They have alot of lines that sync together and makes it seem like they have a relationship. Same goes with Garrus/Tali, or Jacob/Miranda.
Squadmates relationships with each other: Nonexistant, or just really subtle?

It would be nice if the squadmates would start talking to each other while in towns (Illium,Omega, etc) like in Dragon Age.

More of that would be nice and also a bit of it on the Normandy.
So to the op: I think it's TOO subtle.

I really hope they improve upon this. I was totally shocked when I watched a video where Jack had died before Shepard assigned everyone their roles for the SM and when Miranda volunteers herself for 2nd fire team leader, Garrus gets pissed and says "I don't want you leading the second fire team. Half the people here don't even trust you." I don't think there's any hint of Garrus' dislike of Miranda before that, so I think they're just pretty non-existent rather than subtle.
Obviously Bioware is capable of pulling this off very well. I hope they have the time to give details like this some more love.
