Yeah, I was searching for David Silverman holding the cue cards.

but at the end when asked about the WiiU, it was good to hear and see the hesitance on their part.

I get the feeling there is a big future controversy regarding this just waiting to happen. EA seem very keen about the Wiiu whilst I haven't really seen much interest from BioWare (the devs I follow on Twitter didn't seem big fans). I wonder if EA will push for BioWare to look into it anyway down the road?
All depends on what the Wiiu brings to the table at the end of the day though. Could be it ends up just being a simple case of another system to port to in cases like this. Alternatively it could either flop and not draw enough support even from EA to get BioWare games and the like on it, or conersely it could be a bigger success than some predict and actively encourage a wide range of devs who don't usually develop for Nintendo systems to branch out and take advantage of some aspect of it's tech. Who knows maybe we will see games with 'Better with Wiiu' labels in a couple of years time.
/tangent.
More OT: Epic interview!

This.SalsaDMA: Although I couldn't help but shake the feeling that his usage of the word 'beginning' gave things a whole new context. It gave me the idea that ME3 doesn't end with the reapers being defeated and never having to be worried about again, but with The reaper fleet being forced back from earth, with remnants of it still at large afterwards for latter games/DLC/the-works...

I have to confess I am getting a bit tired of the "awesome" and "epic" that keeps getting thrown around. Yeah we get it, yes we know it will be awesome and epic, we don't need to be told every 30 secs. What I want to hear is why it will be "Awesome" and why it will be "Epic".
I know the guys at Bioware are excited about their project but it tends to be a bit of a buzz killer if all we are ever told is that "it will be awesome" (personally I hate that word with a vengeance anyway).

This has me worried also. When he said "beginning" my mind immediately jumped to a "War with the Reapers" MMORPG/FPS. This would effectively kill the ME series for me. Shepard's story can only end one way: with him defeating the Reapers.

@CaseyDHudson ...aren't going to give fans the definitive trilogy ending we're looking for. I don't suppose you could comment for us?

.@jeffoconnor The full-blown galactic war ignites at the start of #ME3. The game is about deciding how it ends. As definitive as it gets.
Not sure why you would expect anything different. They are corporate heads and not lead developers. They must have a different mindset. Also, the entire interview is about the future, which they are hesitent to reveal, where the Casey Hudson interview talked a lot about the past ME games and what was learned. You are also comparing a 10 minute interview about 3 franchises to a ~30 min (not sure about total length) about one franchise. They want to get the important message out in the limited amount of time, they don't have the time to go indepth.Hathur wrote...
Sadly, the founders of Bioware are ALWAYS boring as sin to listen to... they always utter typical corporate buzzwords - they never speak candidly or with the passion of a gamer (which is odd since we know they are avid gamers). I've watched many interviews with them in the past 2-3 years and they're all extremely.... corporate... for lack of a better word.
They clearly speak in interviews with the intent of it being addressed to shareholders... not gamers. They're about as riveting to listen to as Bobby Kotick.
They're not like listening to Casey Hudson's interviews with Gameinformer a few months ago... now that was an interview(s) that gamers could actually appreciate and you felt / saw the passion he has for his game.
