The clip; 02:16/02:17 is a geth "rover/transport vehicle", it can be seen driven by Legion in the "reaper base" video!

I believe it is due to one of two possibilities.
Cerberus had some research done further other than Overlord (or even from Overlord) to control Geth.
The Geth are Heretics, but they avoided the virus that Shepard spread. Notice that a lot of the Geth have packs on their backs? It could be a terminal device similar to the terminals on the Geth station.
