Playing as a Sentinel, unlocked Warp, and instead of acting like Miranda's warp, where its almost instant, and happens where targeted, Shepard's warp flies out like throw, in a (slow moving, ugh!) ball. It has the same effect on impact, I am just curious as to why this occurs. It is very annoying because I can use Miranda's to hit stuff immediately, while mine lolly-gags around flying through the air in a ball hitting objects that are barely even in the flight path along the way, causing wasted use at least 50% of the time.
Is this working as intended or a bug that I am getting?

Standard as far as I know over a dozen playthroughs of ME2. Though squad powers are pretty much instant hit; Shepard's version--if you will--have more nuance. For example, Shepard's warp can hit an enemy behind a wall if aimed correctly whereas a squad member's can't.

Yeah, Since i picked it up and posted this, I've played further through and ran across enemies that warped like Shepard, throwing the ball like the throw skill, so I suppose squadmates get a special "perk" for the ability to get instant warps on open targets.
