I can't believe that after owning the game for months and loving the Vanguard to death (and playing Soldier in a shotgun-centric way), only a few days ago did I realize you can double-tap the Shotun.
Shoot.
Activate Carnage.
Instantly fire Carnage even if it's only been like 2 frames after shooting.
Anyone else notice this? Are there any other tricks you've been shocked to discover so long after getting the game?

usually end up using explosive amo, with the like 2-3 second CD 
but i never realized you could do that, dont remember if i ever even tried using carnage before. on one of my recent PT i found another way to get the info on saren. its actually obvious, and most people probably noticed it right away. but instead of going to harkan you can talk to barla von (volus guy) in the financial district. he is an agent for the shadow broker and informs you on wrex being hired to kill "fist". then you can go to the choras den without ever meeting harken or garrus (severely impacting the plot of both games lol).
