I'm referring to the scenes that you can't forget, the ones the creep up in your thoughts every now and the little while. Mine would be the face-melting scene in the first Indiana Jones movie. Oddly enough, the ghosts are the ones that scared me the most. I actually closed my eyes as soon as Indy did.

The Oompa Loompas scared me. I think it was the singing. Their was something oddly disturbing about their deep voice and the fact that they didn't speak unless they were singing.

Any scene in Return to Oz was pretty damn scary.

As a wee thing. the "only known" film footage of Bigfoot walking through the forest (from the so-called documentary in the 70's). Something about the hunkered-down pace just gave me the creeps.

Much later...the flashes of demonic faces in The Exorcist (director's cut) during some mundane scene in the kitchen. And a snippet from The Grudge - when Kayako's face sort of slides downward through the space in an open door. Unpleasant, that. Image IPB

Hostel 2, when that girl is hanging above the bathtub and the "client" has a sickle and laying below.

I won't say any more, as it would certainly violate forum rules.

It takes a lot for me to squint or turn away, but this does

The alien torture scene from "Fire in the Sky" made me drive 7 hours from Indianapolis to West Virginia with the light on in my car the entire time (at night), and gave me nightmares for 6 straight months from which I would sometimes wake up screaming.

Also, the heffalumps and woozles from Winnie the Pooh creeped me the hell out when I was like five.

The Labyrinth.

David Bowie's pants scared the crap outta me. Ruined my fashion sense too.

The rape scene in "A Clockwork Orange". I won't link it because it is rather awful... But, yeah, that's the one which has traumatized me the most.

My mom saw that in a theater with my dad and when that scene came on she ran out of the theater and vomited.

Also The Birds (hitchcock version), I'm terrified of birds as is and that film just murdered any slim chance I had of ever being well adjusted.

Most realistic and gruesome fight scene I've ever seen. The guy's head just caves. And in the tunnel. Lord.

The entire scene with the zombie baby in the Dawn of the Dead. The baby itself isn't even the scariest part.

It took me days to stop freaking out about going outside after I saw it.

I remember after watching the movie simply staring at the sky thinking, "That sh!t was fvcked up." for 20 minutes.

Nothing, I'm too desensitized for movies to traumatize me.

Guy's a mad man, that track he used in the begining, that low pulsing hum, was specifically chosen because it causes nausea in some people.
