FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU- Ten minutes. Ten minutes! And that fire extinguisher. What the ****?

well if that shocked you  ... can't imagine what serbian movie can do to you xDD

I hadn't heard of this one - according to Wikipedia, that movie sounds incredibly disturbing. The screenwriters of The Human Centipede and A Serbian Film are some seriously deranged individuals.

http://en.wikipedia..../A_Serbian_Film

Gah.....I couldn't even get through the description of that.  That's......unbelievable.  W.T.F.

hell of a movie.. especially the end .. where he rapes his own son and  watches as his brother f***** his wife . But you know what it felt like FAKE  even the scene with the baby rape  ...
i recommend this movie  because it really shows limiteless human depravity as it is and it is truly disgusting

I would not recommend the movie to anyone I can name better fiction that shows human depravity for what it is, but A Serbian Film all it does is show how stupid people can be.

Also what slimgrin said.

Yep. Somebody's trying too hard to be controversial. Just goes to show how far you have to go these days to really do that. We're so desensitized to violence it's not even funny. Well, I'm not. I can't watch those "torture porn" horror movies like Saw. Even though I know it's all fake and all CGI, I just can't enjoy seeing images like that. But some people get off on that stuff, apparently a lot of people, so they keep making them. I guess we haven't come that far since captives were slain for public spectacle in the Flavian Amphitheatre.

Funny you mention Indiana Jones, OP, for me it was the scene in the second movie when the priest goes "KALIMA" and tears out a guy's heart ! And I couldn't sleep or smile for months after I saw 6th sense. The scene in Fantasia when all the volcanos erupt and the dinosaurs die over orchestral music, doing that to a kid is just sick. Oh and the horsey drowning in the quicksand in Neverending story !

Actually good point and the first Indy when that guys face melts when they open the ark Image IPB and I can't believe I forgot to mention the one I used to hide behind the couch at when I was a kid....the Library Ghost in Ghostbusters lol

A Serbian Film is the only film I can call "torture porn" the Saw movies don't come close.

That part in "The Wicker Man" where the man gets burned to death in a man...made out of wicker. Now I cannot watch any movie with Nicolas Cage in it.

The original "The Haunting." B&W movie. Very few special effects, but with the great acting and certain sounds......I still can't watch it alone at night.

The shower scene in Psycho. Couldn't take a shower without flinching for years.

The Birds.

The Ring - The horse on the ferry....ahhh gawd.....

The Exorcist.

Books: It by Stephen King, The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson (the book is scarier than the movie).

I just thought of another. The movie Anaconda with Jennifer Lopez and Ice Cube. Now, I usually like snake movies (except Snakes on a Plane and Snakes on a Train and Snakes on a Submarine), and I did in fact like this one too. I watched it probably when I was about 10 or so. I would stay up till morning rolled around during summer vacation. Why? To watch the Adventures of Donkey Kong (Have no idea if that is the actual name). However, one morning a movie decided to play before my usual show. Anaconda was interesting, and I enjoyed it even at that age. Anyway, back to the subject!  The part I'm talking about is.... where the Anaconda spits up the villian! He was all goey! So, yes, probably more disgusting than traumatizing. Still, the image has stuck with me for years.

When I was little my mom was channel surfing and happened to flip on the 1993 version of Body Snatchers at this exact part: I was so traumatized, I was always worried that would happen to my mom. =( I never knew what movie it was from until I was a teenager and my mom got me the DVD for Christmas cause she found it on clearance.

I've seen all of the most disturbing movies out there by now though, including Salo, A Serbian Film, Irreversible, and Eraserhead so it's hard for a movie to disturb me these days since I've seen all of the worst.

Oh my gosh, I remember the Brave Little Toaster. Once again childhood movies freaked me the hell out. That air conditioner, the junk yard, where Blanket(?) is getting stolen by rats, and when Lamp(?) blows his light bulb in a storm. Also that weird daydream sequence with the Toaster. Gah!

Well you have a higher threshold for "disturbing" than I do, I guess. I like my world to be sunshine, lollipops and rainbows to the greatest extent possible. Ugliness, pain, horror—do not want.

I like my world to be a good mix of both sunshine, lollipops, rainbows and ugliness, pain and horror since that is the real world(more or less) :P

Anyway the real reason I don't see Saw as "torture porn"(well the first movie the rest are torture of sorts... ) was it had an interesting plot(again only the first one) and rest of the movies tried to keep that interesting plot going but failed to the point it was only "torture" to me.<_<

That one scene from American History X (<Wikipedia Link), where he curb stomps the guy.

ehhhh *shivers*. I saw that scene when i was a kid and it still haunts me. Curb stomps.....*shivers*.

EDIT: The only horror movie/Tv show that has ever managed to genuinely haunt me afterwards has been the Bloody Mary episode of Supernatural (first season). You can't take a shower after watching that.

I heard about the Human Centipede. Glad I never watched it.

The Descent still freaks me out, what with me being very claustrophobic. And disliking things that want to eat me...

That the bear thing from the teletubbies...

Movies generally don't traumatise me but they usually make me cry instead (yep they be tears of manliness). Hachiko and the Boy in the Stripped pyjamas usually does it.

American History: X the curve stomp scene. That was pretty freaking brutal also considering I was close to 13 or so when I saw the movie.
