Mufasa's death from Lion King.

Horrors are boring. At least today horrors. Loot of blood, meat and stuff. Just like horror games. They are poor, stupid and not scary. One of the best horrors i ever played: Amnesia: The dark descent.

Have you played STALKER? If you can make it through Lab X18 without a minor heart attack, well, you are stronger willed than I ;)

Hi,
if you think that was scary or something (I own every stalker game out there and like it - still i didn't even remember that one so I check on youtube to be sure) then you should really try Amnesia: The Dark Descent. I can even take a bet that you will not last 2 hours without taking a break just to calm yourself down if you say that X18 almost give you hart attack.

Try it. Amnesia is probably best horror game out there. And it's one of this that I remember even now. Best ever.

Irréversible is one of those films I've been meaning to watch but no one I know will bloody watch it with me.

And I can't watch it by myself, I'd feel like a creep.

I hadn't heard of this one - according to Wikipedia, that movie sounds incredibly disturbing. The screenwriters of The Human Centipede and A Serbian Film are some seriously deranged individuals.

Starship Troopers. When I was about 8 years old I walked into the living room and my dad was watching it. At the same time I walked in some massive alien started sucking some dudes brains out. I have no idea what the hell happened and I'm never going to find out. I refuse to watch that film!

They were sucking out the brains to increase their knowledge of our species so..now you know Image IPB

I agree with that other guy about Hostel 2 ive watched most horror flicks without batting an eye but that once scene was disturbing to my male sensibilities.

I can't remember the movie exactly (I was a kid) but there was this bloody scene where a grizzly was getting tortured/tormented [by poachers, I think?] and her cubs were all there and absolutely terrified. I was tears, freaking the hell out, screaming for it to stop.. :/

Just about any scene from the dreaded Saw movies, along with certain scenes from the I Know What You Did Last Summer trilogy. In fact, there are quite a few movies with such scenes that are escaping me at the moment.

Also, this thread has inspired me to watch The Human Centipede!

Yea, that's something that i can't bear watching.  Animals getting messed with.   I can watch humans get they're heads friggin chopped off,  but the harming of animals really pisses me off.

I have no actually traumatizing movie experiences, but one weekend as a kid I saw both Hostel and Hellraiser and that's when I actually realized that torture ain't acceptable in any situations except extreme revenge. Otherwise movies haven't really affected me, in my opinion.

I have two memorable moments.

1. The Passion of the Christ - I cried through the entire movie, but the flagellation scene was the worst cinematic experience of my life. I could barely watch, sobbed uncontrollably and shook non-stop.

2. Dancer in the Dark - The final scene hurt so much to watch that my ex-boyfriend could hear my heart beating loudly from three feet away.

Well, the first horror movie I ever watched was Alien and it traumatized me, especially the Chest-burster scene, bear in mind I was only 7 when I watched it.

The curb stomp in American History X. My stomach can handle a lot, but that image will probably bug me for the rest of my life...

I watched many horror movies and many different kinds of movies as a kid. Never did get traumatized by that. I mean sure I had nightmares from time to time. Most kids do when they watch a scary movie, but never traumatized. In fact I enjoyed scary movies as a kid. The alien chest burster scene was classic when I watched that. I was like "Wow!" and all excited.

But yeah... I'm a strange bird that way.

Tried to watch Saving Private Ryan with my son. Broke down and had to leave after about 10 minutes. Brought back to many memories.
