I would just like to share with with everyone my overwhelming grief since I accidentally deleted all my saved files and DLCs in my Xbox 360 while transferring files. While I know, I could just create another game... I'm still in a state of shock of losing four of my Shepards. Each with more than ten playthroughs.

I think I even shed a tear last night  Yes... I officially suck.

Still sucks. I just made a plate of nachos with fresh salsa, marble cheese and chopped portabelo mushrooms. Have some.

Wow, that is bad. How many characters did you have? EDIT: Oh nevermind, just skimmed the OP, now read it.

Well, if you want to put a positive spin on the thing, at least now you can wait until just 2 weeks ot r so before ME3 comes out, then start a new character in ME1 play him/her right through to the end of ME3 and have the most cohesive ME experience ever (you could even read/reread the novel in between games.

That is what I plan to do anyways, btw.

couldn't you just keep the old HD? you can actually just detach it from the console. dunno if it would be compatible with an elite though.

Thats nothing.. How about almost 2000 hours of game time on Oblivion having finished EVERYTHING in shivering isles and halfway through Knights of the Nine and almost done with the thieves guild and a good part of the dark brotherhood only to lose it all!

Not quite that amount of game time, but I have felt that pain. Keenly. Especially coupled with the loss of my Fallout 3 files at the same time. And all my Gears of War 1 files. 

I wanted to cry.

...Over 86 entire days... As in, full-on Day/Night cycles... Of constant Oblivion?
