Before you continue yes it is one of those "Paragon's facing consequences" thread, but one without any self-entitlement #*@$%ing

One thing about ME2 that really did make sense was some of the "Anti-Human" movement that started to develop on the Citadel. If you let the council die you hear that there has been riots, and the Turian Store Owner and Asari who needed a passport were both racist. I wouldn't mind if something similar to that occur during Shepards (brief) stay on earth at the beginning of the game if saved the Council. Several Human ships were destroyed if you saved the council, so I think it would be a nice touch if some of the Earth humans (or Alliance Brass) treat Shep as a traitor to his race.

I play predominantly paragon. I am okay with this.

That'd be pretty cool. Like the red necks of space coming out.

Would be cool if atleast some commanders in the alliance fleet have contempt towards shep for making the call to sacrifice hundreds of people just to save the council.

yeah, makes sense actually. Then the reapers crash through the window and I shep can point out:

See? **** like this is why we need friends.

Sounds like a good idea, as well as a logical result.

The Courts Marshall questioning Shepard's loyalty would be an interesting situation for a Paragon to face. We've already seen one Alliance Admiral that was not pleased about the Normandy getting rerouted for Specter duties (ME1, forget the Admiral's name, but he meets you on the dock). And then there's that obnoxious reporter trying to spread bad stuff about you.

What is with everyone calling Shepard a traitor? If "we" hear or see that word one more time ...

Seriously, yeah! That's well thought out and it wouldn't surprise me if it was brought up.

I'd love it if some people expressed their hatred for the aliens on Shepard's team.

I like it.

Other than that, i would like the chance to blame Hackett and the Alliance for the Arrival incident.

@SandTrout - Rear Admiral Mikhailovich, 5th Fleet, 63rd Scout Flotilla.

To the OP - Yes, I agree, some situations for a Paragon Shep to deal with because of the DA and it'd be good to see too.

Shepard: Miss Jilani, would you say you're a fair and balanced reporter?

Kalisa Al Jilani: Why yes I-

THWACK!

Jilani: What the hell?! You can't do that!

Shepard: Your honour, permission to treat the witness as hostile?

Judge Anderson: Hmmmm I'll allow it.

Shepard: Thank you your honour. Miss Jilani, have you attempted to colour the public's view of me at all?

Jilani: No I-

BIOTIC LIFT AND THROW ACROSS THE ROOM!

Jilani: <Coughing blood> What type of court is this?! Your honour I object!

Judge Anderson: Commander Shepard! I demand you come up to the bench this instant!!

Shepard walks over

Judge Anderson: <handing over a scimatar shotgun> Aim for the knees and get this testimony over with! I haven't got all the day and we still have some guy called Manuel, a shopkeeper who says you made people think she hated the poor and a Hanar who claims you called him a big stupid jellfish.

Terra Firma protesters outside the trial's location would be a nice touch.

If you saved the Council, they make negative comments toward Shepard, if the Council was sacrificed, positive.

Makes sense to me. But I'd like an option to kneecap them.

Shepard doesn't have to be called a traitor perse, but it would play into a some of the dialogue in the first game. Udina and the Alliance Admiral both telling you to remember that you're "Human First." You essentially sacrificed 1000s of human lives to save a bunch of aliens, so it would make sense for Shepard to have some dissenters on earth the same way not everyone on the citadel loves Shepard if the council died.

Shepard knows that, but s/he also knows that humans aren't the only ones in peril here which they don't seem to understand. You mean to tell me that if only aliens could save humans then ... Shepard's not that quick to call them traitors to their own people like everybody from the Alliance.

I do get what you're saying, I just think their reasoning or being so gung-ho to push their reasoning on Shepard is ridiculous. I'm not saying that Shepard shouldn't have detractors and whatnot, but damn, their asses are alive because of me and the aliens! They should be greatful!! They don't have to like how I went about it, but they should know that I don't give a damn!

Ahh well that's the benefit of not mindlessly choosing only paragon or renegade options. I cut the anti human movement on the citadel short by killing Joram Taleed (the turian that's being hunted by Kolyat) myself. Even on my almost pure paragon playthroughs.

If this causes an incident between Shepard and a lot of aliens on the citadel then so be it. Maybe I'll wait until the Reapers have destroyed every person on the citadel before coming to the rescue :-)

Interesting reads so far!

When my Shepard is being escorted to the court's building I'd like my Shepard to smile, wave and do a V-for-Victory sign to the masses of Terra Firma supporters that still remember Shepard publicly and openly supporting their party.
Optionally I'd like Shepard to have the option to shout "I was there on Elysium - they had it coming to 'em!".

I honestly don't see them making the charges against Shepard public. For one thing, a lot of the subject matter of the charges against him are EXTREMELY classified. And if the charges did come to light to the public then the Alliance could get into trouble themselves. And if Shepard is proven innocent, then they just tried to try and convict a galactic super hero which would also make the Alliance look bad. The trial is likely private and unknown to the public.
