 I keep getting the error message "Neverwinter Nights 2 has stopped working" after about 30 seconds of gameplay, and NWN2 crashes to my desktop home screen. I'm currently running Windows 7, and have tried running the game as an administrator (and restarted my computer, for good measure) to no avail. Oddly enough, I played the game all last night with no error messages, and the game and expansion pack installations went over without a hitch. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks!

It can be Hardware related, your graphic card maybe ?

Try these:
Download DirectX 9c (Not 10 or 11, NwN2 uses an older version)
Download new graphics card drivers
Update your antivirus software and scan your computer
Reinstall Neverwinter Nights 2 and update to 1.23
If all fails, reinstall Windows 7 and try the above again.
If it still persists, it's a hardware problem.

Have you tried running it in a compatibility mode as well? You may need to go to where you have Neverwinter Nights 2 installed on your hard drive and right click on ‘NWN2Launcher’ then go to properties, try running it in Windows XP Service Pack 3 and as the administrator.
