Would you go to forums? Watch a playthrough or read a guide to seek perfection on your first playthrough?
or will you have an independence playthrough where any mistakes or achievements you make, you live with to the end (of that first playthrough)?
Will you go out of your way for perfection?

I'm going to go in blind if I don't get ninjaspoiled (not going to be looking for spoilers).
...Unless someone/a lot of people die that I reeeeeally don't want to. Then I'll be chanting "Sh!t, sh!t SH!T!" and jumping onto the BSN.

Negative. First playthrough is my canon. I go into it blind, just like she does.

I almost always do my first playthrough on my own, with no meta-gaming. After that I usually feel free to read walkthroughs and so forth so that I know my alternatives for my next playthrough.

I'll go in with any spoilers I pick up the forums or in advertising. Beyond that, it'll be a blind playthrough. Then I'll delete it, find out what I did wrong, and play through again.

I tend to use achievement as a guide for a first playthrough, but nothing more than that. In my first ME2 playthrough, my crew dissolved and Tali got shot in the face (she was the romance interest, as well), but that was it. Generally, bar a few meta-gaming concepts, BioWare games are very straightforward.

I'll be going blind into my first playthrough and see what happens. Later on my 2nd, maybe 3rd playthrough I'll use the mass effect wiki to make a perfect playthrough of course, if it's not as easy as ME2 to do so.

I was late to the Mass Effect party, so I leaned on the wiki pretty heavily for ME1 and 2. ME3 will be the first one I'll play while it's actually new, so I'm going to go through it without help.
That said, if I screw up catastrophically somehow, I'm going to reload a save or do something else to fix it
What can I say, I'm a sucker for a happy ending.

My rule is play through the first time without help, unless I get my playthrough so foobared that I need to find help, or I will just restart the playthrough all over again. But since there is suppose to be more then one ending (sorry about the spoiler), I may just finish the playthrough anyway.

I'm not into spoilers and I have a hard time understanding anyone who is. If something happens that I really can't allow to stand, like a character dying, then I would simply load an earlier save.

Going in blind the first time.
Second time through will be different class, gender and morality, and mostly blind, with ony the spoilers from the first playthrough.
3rd time through I'll be going for completionist.

I'm a completionist every time, but I will be going in blind first time. Considering I only lost Mordin on first SM (What with his predilection for dying), I'm not too worried.

Like I did with both ME1 and ME2, first playthrough is done all by myself and without any help. After that I start figuring out what I might have missed or done wrong. It usually takes me three playthrough's to "master" the game, so my 4th and 5th are perfect.

Always blind on my first playthrough. If I seriously mess it up somehow I might consult a guide or ask people on the forums but I'd rather leave it imperfect then perfect it later.

For this one, definitely a blind run on my first (canon) play-through.

I was a coward for ME2 and used the wiki for the suicide mission... even though in hindsight it was really straightforward... In ME3 I will be playing blindly w/o help as I want to buy the game the 1st day it's released and play it...

Going in blind. Nothing like experiencing the unexpected. First playthrough you want to be shocked and awed. On 3/6/12 I'm calling in sick, cranking my MartinLogans all the way up, turning the cellphone off, input whatever codes I've obtained, slow my heartbeat, and then listen to the intro.

I play blind, but there's always a couple decisions that I really regret later so I do a perfect run for import to the next game.

I always go blind on my first run. If there's anything needed to be hashed out it'll come after that.

Always blind playthrough the first time around, then going for achievements when I feel necessary. I don´t really read guides.

You wont have to worry about that in ME3

Gonna live with the consequences. No perfection for me.

Considering that I saved entire crew and got "No one left behind" on my first run even not looking on guides, I really don't have to worry.

My first playthrough is usually blind, but my "canon" playthrough is never my first. I want to play my main Shepards' story as I want it, including the outcomes of decisions. As long as I can give in-character reasons for the decisions I make, I don't mind using foreknowledge.
