How should NG+ work in ME3?

We know that NG+ is in ME3, and as far as I know, all we know about it is that it's a "hybrid of ME1 & 2's NG+", which tells us virtually nothing (correct me if I'm wrong).

So what would you like to see from NG+ in ME3?

For my part, I think the things I'd most like to see changed from ME2's NG+ are that:

1) Morality bars should not be zero'd by NG+. This by itself makes NG+ often less fun than a normal game, which is not how it should be, and it's especially harsh on people who actually want to RP their character, not to exclusively focus on picking up all the possible Renegade or Paragon points in a given conversation or situation.

ME1 did this much better, with it zero'ing the bars, but letting you keep the "earned" points in Charm/Intimidate. I hope that the ME3 system means that it's easier to access Paragon/Renegade convo choices on repeat play-throughs (maybe even have some special, non-essential ones only available that way), not harder.

2) Any equipment/training choices should be added to, not just skipped or replaced. With ME2, when you reach the Collector Ship, you were allowed to choose training in a new weapon group, or to get a special weapon for a group you were already trained in.

I thought this was a genius feature, because it would mean that, with repeated play-throughs, you'd eventually have access to all the weapon groups and special weapons on a character (Soldiers would get all the special weapons a lot faster).

However, I was disappointed to find that, in actuality, it just let you make the choice on the first play-through ever, and then you were stuck with it. If ME3 has any similar choices, I hope that we can build on the previous choices, rather than either being stuck with them or just re-making them.

New or returning from ME1 (kinda), I'd like to see the level cap be high enough that you were extremely unlikely to reach it in a single play-through, even with a level 30 imported game from ME2. I'd also like to see some achievements which might take more than one play-through to complete.

Anything you'd like to see from NG+?

I made a thread about being able to swap disliked skills in your class for another in the same skill set (so you'd swap tech with tech for example). Maybe you could do that at each NG+ so you could, through repeated playthroughs, adjust your class to your liking, rather than sticking with what BioWare gives you. It wouldn't ruin the classes as you'd still have all Tech if you're an Engineer, or mixed Tech and Combat if you're an Infiltrator. It just adds a bit more personalisation.

Personally I found it irritating in ME2 if you imported a character from ME1 you could get bonuses to paragon/renegade minerals and cash. If you then finish the game and import the same character from a finished ME2 you can start with less resources than on your first play through (being able to keep upgrades would be cool too).

Yeah that was one of the points I was making. It's crazy that an ME1 import characters get more stuff than NG+ character, and I really hope they rectify it in ME3.

same as ME1

keep all skills, all weapons all upgrades all XP levels and whatnot

let's not butcher it like in ME2 (even tho I am exceedingly glad they put it in the game when they initially cut it)

I think the level cap should be so high that if you had 60 in ME1 and 30 in ME2 you can just get it like five mission before the end. ME2 it felt like I capped halfway through the game, especially with the DLC.
