The Geth have a powerful armada and are strong shock troops. They are just as, if not more intelligent than the Quarians. If it comes to a choice, nuke the Quarians and use the Geth. They will prove way more valuable in a military sense.

The Geth climate control could be useful. It wouldn't surprise me if the Geth used planets as bargaining chips. Why else would they try and work on climate control?
