Anyone else hoping that Jacob gets a new voice actor?

I think Jacob's voice is fine, imo.

"but the priiize" will never sound good even if Morgan Freeman himself says it.

His voice actor is fine...it was the dialog he had to say and overall writing of his character

I was actually hoping that they will cut Jacob out of the game and release a patch to remove it from ME2.

I think his loyalty mission is the best example of what I'm trying to say. The way he transitions between sentences just sounds really stiff.
For example, when he says "My father was feeding his crew toxic food. What the Hell?" he doesn't even pause between the end of his first sentence and the second one. He says it so quickly that "what the hell" sounds like its part of "food"

His voice fit his appearance perfectly. I agree with Saberchic, though. FemShep sounded like she just wanted to get in his pants the whole time.

Ugh, no kidding. "I'm more interested in just...talking". Blah. I always wondered why FemShep was all business with any other companion, until they were committed to each other, but immediately sounded like she was in heat with Jacob. Creepy.

I think the VA's totally fine. It's the character and his writing that was totally, unremarkable and forgettable. A security chief, who followed in dad's footsteps. I don't think I used him on a single mission past the prologue.
I´d rather they had followed his past as a corsair, but we got daddy issues from a father he´d kind of forgotten. And why fShep flirty tone? Didn´t they realize that would make a lot of players hate him?
