So, as Mass Effect movie is about in time line when The First Contac War starts?
Then it started when Miranda was 7 and Shepard 3 years old.

You don't deserve such nor will you get that from me. If anything, this type of role would be different for Kate. She's obviously branched out, but will always be seen as Selene from Underworld (She'll be in the fourth film, btw).

You have to consider Miri's background. It's obvious that Yvonne's Austrailian, but is "Miranda"? You get this lots of tmes when an American actor portrays a non-American character or the inverse (no offense to Yvonne) (ie: Lara Croft: Angelina Jolie) You didn't have this problem in Underworld because the entire cast was English. Is Miranda English, but she has an Austrailian accent. It's no big deal, to me, as I'd watch Kate in anything. I'm just saying that it comes up alot.

I said in an earlier post, I wonder the reaction if the VAs from the games were in the movies - not necessarily if it'd be a good or bad thing (because the overall stigma from Game based movies is not-so-good), but we rarely see these people. (ie: Meer/Hale. "Their characters' voices do have faces behind them!")

To clarify, I meant before as in "I do not like the idea of a FCW movie, and would prefer a forced canonical adaption of the Mass Effect games over the FCW if given the choice".

Yvonne Strahovski IS Miranda Lawson. Using face/body scans of actresses as well as their voices for characters and then not using them in a movie seems....idiotic. The only excuse I can see is if there's sufficient time between the game and movie that the actors/actresses are no longer age appropriate.

Jennifer Carpenter is an excellent second choice. She also looks like Miranda.

Heh, I love Yvonne Strahovski, but I can tell you she doesn't have Miranda's body either. It's a great body, it's just not THAT great.

Yvonne WILL play Miranda in a movie, but they'll have to use some effects to make her...proportions look correct.
