You could have had ashley, miranda and jack if male and you used no protection during sex.

and if female jacob and kaidan and no protection was used.

Mordin provided books and "aids", which probably included protection. Or he skulks around Shepard's cabin, waiting for an opportunity to intercept.

Oh wait, that really sounded wrong. :-P

Hmmm...maybe Dr. Chakwas has something up her sleeve? Or maybe Ashley, Tali, etc. are just responsible adults, and make sure they're covered?

Holographic hard light condoms. Just the press of a button on your Omni-Tool and BAM!

Also, Miranda is sterile.

contraception for all military unless they deliberately go off it due to deliberately starting a family and all? pretty sure female soldiers nowadays are on some sort contraception already, and I don't see why males wouldn't be on something as well, especially 200 years into the future.

Usually, what I do when woohoo-ing doesn't produce the pregnancy chime, is reload and try again. You should do that, OP, and see if it helps.

There is birth control in the future? Did you expected them to announce this to you?
Not to mention even if for some random reason they didn't use birth control it’s not like you always get pregnant every time you have unprotected sex. Most woman in the army are on the injection. I would think there would be something like that in the future and Miranda is sterile.

Perhaps in military organizations in the future, temporary sterilization is mandatory. Like implants for females, and I'm sure some kind of version of the Pill for men.

'Encounters' do happen despite being against regs (as we well know) and on long starship voyages we can't be having Fleet Admirals and Chief Engineers suddenly knocked up and popping out babies. There simply isn't time for that kind of stuff in that kind of a situation and so it makes sense from a military perspective to have prospects sign up on a mandatory form of birth control.

That said -- Not every time someone has sex, they impregnate/are impregnated. People can try for years and still not have a baby.

Why would you do that?! Babies are horrible, horrible creatures.

It's explained in one of the books that almost everyone is on birth control except for family planning purposes. It's not mandatory, but anyone who isn't on it is going against the generally expected societal norms.

And I personally suspect it is mandatory for soldiers, not that it'd help with Jack (although Jack could very well be sterile after what she's been through).

For one, you never saw them do anything in ME but kiss and roll around on the bed, you are just assuming no protection was used.  Same with ME2, because everyone still had their clothes on when the screen went black.

Also, protection in the 22nd century very well could be very different from what we use in the 21st century.

Obvious troll thread, by obvious troll.

Pro Troll Tip: Usernames with "noxious" in them are a dead giveaway. Next time try a username that doesn't telegraph troll intent.
