Things I liked about DA2:
1) Faster, more fluid combat. Soooo much better. I actually want to play as a mage now!
2) More Companion side quests - I would like to be able to have some dialogue where you can talk anywhere you click on them though like in DAO.
3) Rivalry / Friendship system
4) Awesome companions (Fenris), party banter, and making it feel like they all have lives outside of just hanging with Hawke
4) Voice Actors did well (especially love sarcastic Hawke)
5) inclusion of more s/s romances - though I would have liked another female (besides Merrill or Isabella) choice for my male Hawke
6) Character customization is so much better as well.
7) Having family and more personal quests - I would love to find out more about Hawke's father
8) I like distinguishes some NPCs made pertaining to your class, especially if you are a mage. Also, how you could only handle certain situations if your personality was diplomatic etc.

I really like those quests and a certain someone you meet in Gamlen's Greatest Treasure. Hopefully you'll be able to write more than just side quests from now on.

What I like:

1. Varric. Besides being an overall great character, I think I really like him because he's not the stereotypical drunk, warrior, axe-weilding dwarf.

2. Companions Banter. Particularly how they sometimes react to Hawke's romances. 

3. Skill trees, both their gameplay designs (with the exception of Spirit healer) and the UI. Also, companions unique skills.

4. Arishok, Qunari in general.

5. Romances in general.

6. Wheel icons, specially <3 to avoid ninjamances. Yes, I understand this is a polemical issue.

The ending song redeemed a lot of things for me. I am easy to please, I know and it was not exactly composed by any of them. But a good choice of song can create an excellent mood and setting for remembering the drama and hope and adventure and all that jazz.

nice work, gamlens treasure was probably my favourate quest in the game

as for what i liked about da2
mmmmmm...
1 archer class is actualy fun  - although its slightly balanced out by the fact u never use the bow in cutscenes and the poor firing animation
2 loading screens and time much better then daos
3 face and character animations are very good (out of combat)

dont u only see leliana mid game if u buy the prince dlc so she isnt realy even part of the game

You can see Leliana at the end of the game - with or without Sebastian DLC.

It ended.... I am kidding, the combat was more responsive, i really liked some of the characters, mainly Isabela and Varric, they tried a new formula, they could've smashed together two Arch-demons to make a new game, but opted for something else it didn't pan out, but in these days that unfortunately deserves praise as most games become more and more alike,

I liked a lot of things in this game, in fact I actually like DA 2 more than Origins! I was actually able to play it more than 1 playthrough and a half(couldn't take doing a second one in origins). The combat system is more fun, specially as a mage, and the voice acting was great.

And the one big thing that really made the game for me : THE ARISHOK!!! runscript appearance 21300 biatches!

They should give this man more work since those Origins were maybe the best, I remember a poll and a thread ab out "best origin" and every second reply was either dwarf noble or city elf.

I myself loved them both, male dwarf noble and female city elf.

I've been extremely critical with this game, after beating it started a new game on DA:O (which I'm really enjoying it!), but one of the few things that I miss from DA2 is the chance to ask to party members for their opinion or letting them decide, I don't remember having this option (I have completed Broken Circle, Warden's Keep, 75% or so of Arl of Redclif any many side quests.) and it was a nice feature.

All 3 classes are fun this time around! Animations are way better. Avaline vs. Isabella cat fight during Avaline's start up companion mission in Act 2
Party banter, including Dog. So good. All the romances are complicated. No Jacob Priiiiize hoobah!
Drank a lot of coffee! Exclamation point!
Can't wait for the DLC!
