I doubt I'll be making a cloak any time soon, though; judging by my lack of fashion sense, I don't think the community would want one.

What I prefer to work with:
- full resolution screenshots from the game
- .tga files work fine, since they don't have any compression to start with
- at least 800x600 in size
- include information in the email with:
- - - name or handle of person that took screenshot
- - - name of server/PW the screenshot is from
- - - list any known graphical/content packages used in the screenshot
- - - - - - CEP, Project Q, GUI alterations, etc.
Thanks!

Thanks to Qlippoth for bringing this missing information to my attention.
I know folks are hoarding NWN screenshots...You know they don't have to be particularly atristic, right? Actual gameplay (especially multiplayer/PW) pictures are definitely missing from the site's front page.

Nice, hi-res video game textures at the link above. Not a huge huge amount, but still pretty nice.
For a much larger selection, there is the Ryzom Asset Repository, which can be browsed, searched, and downloaded from individually, here:
http://media.ryzom.com/
The entire pack of Ryzom content (which decompresses to about 11 Gigs, textures and models), can also be downloaded directly from Sourceforge, here:
https://sourceforge....ets.7z/download
Not sure which of those, if any, qualify for inclusion in the "Resources" area, but I thought I'd pass them on.

So, I've got a project someone with time can help out with. I'd like to make a NWNX page for the site (linked from the module builders page, which is also for server admins). On this page, I'd like to make a (current) list of resources for NWNX.
I'd put a link to the NWNX forum and one to directly download the files to get NWNX up and running.
Then I want to make a list of current plugins for NWNX. Plugin name & version, .dll file name, OS it works with (linux/windows), direct download URL, URL for related thread on NWNX forum, and a brief description.
Yeah, I know. It's a lot of digging and information. But NWNX is basically an essential for server admins and builders, and information for a newbie would take a lot of (sometimes frustrating) research. Compiling all of the links on a single page in an easy use to format would be incredibly helpful.
An example of useful plugin info (although the link for a forum thread isn't right here, it shows how it could look):
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Reset Plugin (by virusman) | v 0.2 | Windows | nwnx_reset.dll | download | forum
-------------------------
This simple plugin gracefully shuts down the nwserver.exe process (the server software) via in-game scripting. This allows the program to shut down the module and save characters. NWNX2 will then restart the server automatically.
-------------------------
Installation/configuration instructions go here.
-------------------------
Notes: Original plugin by Asmodae, rewritten by virusman, 2012.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd likely use a little javascript drop-down or something to put the installation/configuration info right with each entry for those that may have misplaced the plugin readme file(s).
I'd also make distinct lists for linux and windows so that new admins/builders aren't trying to download the wrong plugins for their individual set-ups.
If anyone wants to take on the quest to get this information, you can just email it to me (builder@neverwinternights.info), with the URLs and everything right in the body of the message. I can even put together pieces if multiple people want to gather information on different plugins.
Edit: Yup, looks like the NWNX site has a lot of this on the downloads page. It's been a while since I've been to that part of the site, I guess. Still, I don't see everything there that is available these days, so I'd still like a list on the neverwinternights.info site.

Today I also updated the front page and the NWNCX page with information about the current fix for the missing GameSpy listings (NWNCX 0.2.7 and change to servers' hosts file).

I see there are several good and great supplements and alternatives on the vault. I am just looking for the key to getting the horse back to the player once you log back in.
I tried the CEP forums but they seem to be gone?
It seems the NWN1 community is pared down a bit but still active and supportive!
Any ideas willingly accepted. Even creating widgets but I can't find anything in my scattered Mod that works.
I even used the omnibus and couldnt find any posts that just gave a simple answer...thanks all.
Just looked at the forum heading...sorry this is not the place to post...

I think someone else just recently asked about the same sort of thing over on the scripting forum :-)

I've made the .zip file with the .dlls available through the www.neverwinternights.info site, just so that there's always a handy source for them. I also added a link to the harvest moon thread where there's instructions. All three links (program, .dlls, and instructions) are under the link for Custom Content Tools.
Hopefully this will save a good bit of searching and work for someone else looking for this stuff.

Some of these are problematic on some browsers.
I had to unzip the exe file then play the avi file directly.

On a different note...
I just did a Google search for "neverwinter nights", with "personal results" turned off. The neverwinternights.info site came up higher in the search results than the front page for BioWare...finally. It's about time a site that references NWN only once, on a sub-page ("legacy games"), ends up lower on a search than a site crammed full of information and links for the game.
Still below the Wikipedia entry, NWN Vault, and a gamespot page from June 2002, but whatcha gonna do?
Thanks for all the links and promotion and whatever else y'all have been doing to push this up.

If anyone could find the time to locate information on various plugins and email it to me at builder@neverwinternights.info, it would be a big help. Especially needed is information on Linux plugins, since I personally run my PW on a Windows XP machine and have no linux experience. Info on other plugins I don't already have listed is also needed.
I am really looking for information on current, up to date plugins that are stable. Links to outdated or bugged versions do nobody any good.
Information I want for each plugin:
- system needed (Windows or Linux)
- name
- version
- URL to download the specific plugin (direct download link, if possible)
- URL for forum thread/discussion/information on the specific plugin
- very brief description
- plugin author/creator information
- very brief installation/use information (if plugin doesn't have documentation included, where can it be found?)
If you take a look at the entries I've already got on the page, you can see what I'm going for: an easy to use list and information to get up and running with NWNX2.
Thanks in advance for any help you folks can provide.

Also, I just updated the builders/admins page with a couple of additional links and the custom content makers page with some minor formatting changes (changed quick links menu and highlighted the CCC) and a couple new links.

Currently just on the main page, I'll be adding it to the other pages as well in the next day or two. The search box appears when you click on the "Search..." text at the right side of the main menu.

Not something I'm too concerned with that. I update the site with minor stuff a couple times a month (such as new information on the CCC page, or additional plugins on the NWNX2 page), so the occasional index is still good for anyone using the search.Tarot Redhand wrote...
One thing to be aware of AD is that Google doesn't re-index sites as often you might like. Having said that it works well enough as you can see from my Custom Vault Search project.
Speaking of updates, if anyone feels like writing up new tutorials (with screenshots if possible) for the "how to" page, or wants to do the research/data gathering for the NWNX2 page (to get the latest versions, with links and info), you can always email them to builder@neverwinternights.info.
