Reapers and Cerberus.

Cerberus are their own species.

****** Failus?

HA!

All life deserve to live and flourish but not at a too high expense of others. Reapers (and Failberus) are a threat to the very existense of all other life and therefore they must be removed.

+1

Edit: To kill off an entire spiecies (or just allow it to die) just because some of them are rude, violent and have a lack of female eye candy for the boys seems extremely short sighted and selfish to me, even if it's just a game.

None. No race in the game deserves to die out.

The quarians are worthless? They also sent a fleet with supplies and foodstuffs for the turians who had been devastated when everyone else gave lip service. They are not my favourite race in the game, but they've played their part.

The volus created, and help maintain, the vast galactic monetary system.

Thats why the volus deserve to die XD

Think of it like this...
Asari = diplomacy
Turians = Maintain order
Salarians = science and recon
Humans = middle ground, could replace any of the top races but only one.
Hanar = "big stupid jellewfish"
Batarians = thugs/terrorists
krogan = unstoppable army but a possible liability after war.
Quarians = large fleet, could replace turians as peace keeping force.
Geth = same as quarians, could also replace salarians.
Volus = economy
Vorcha = enemy/ Scum

So to keep it balanced I would keep Volus, Quarians/turians, Geth/salarians, and asari could be replaced by humans (I would save humans over asari) Like I said Krogan could become a liability later on so I would save them now but prepare for a war with them if worst comes to worst. The vorcha and hanar and batarians offer nothing when we will need to rebuild so they are not high on my priorities.

Edit: The krogan and rachni may be able to even each other out.
Elcor must survive... Who else will do 4-11 hour plays on Shakespeare! Image IPB

Thats way the volus deserve to die XD

It is possible that the volus have done more for stability, peace and development in the galaxy than anyone else. At least per capita. Through trade they spread tech, knowledge and and other usefull resources through the galaxy and it's many different cultures. More importantly they make potential enemies dependant on each others by creating bonds of trade. So it's a good thing we have volus with weenie wagging triggerhappy spiecies like the turians, humans, batarians and krogan around.

^ This. If I have to choose, humanity will be way down in my list, I don`t want to save something that doesn`t even represents me, mass effect humanity and our actual society are a shame. :(

I'll try to save every race. I like all the ME species in truth, even Batarian (before Arrival I hoped for a Batarian squadmate, but I think this isn't going to happen). The only race I don't like is Vorcha
If I have to choose a race to sacrifice I'd say Vorcha, but I doubt that they will be counted in the races that can die in ME3.

I'd willingly let a few hundred thousand Vorcha go...

Haha, it's not like they wouldn't overpopulate again in a few years, anyway.

Talk about a species in need of its own Genophage.

Nothing but a bunch of Mean Tarkatan-Look-Alikes of whom are 'Gavvorn's Thugs No More!'

He, I feel the same with my nation's society. Well, the major part of it (especially the politic's class<_<)
But in truth, we don't know a lot about ME human society. We only saw the Alliance and the spacial/colonial humans, which doesn't represent the majority of humans. We didn't see much of what is Eart society and governement in previous games (since the Alliance isn't the Eart government). We only know that poverty still exist in Earth, and not much more.

The Geth are the most expendable, simply because they don't really die and will just keep rolling off an assembly line

Why sacrifice anyone? Geth and Krogans will take care of the frontlines, theyre best at it. ( Geth can be rebuilt so no real casualties, and Krogans... theyre just krogans, no need to explain ).

Quarians would be the best ones as the rescue and tech force. They got the giant fleet to evacuate humans and can support all spaceships in realtime.

Turians will be the ones to support with the offensive fleet, along with humans alliance.
Humans will also serve in all cases. We are much of utility race, aren't we?

Salarians - tactics and intel. Nothing to explain there. And spec ops OFC.

Asari... hell, no clue what are they good at! They can be sexy and increase the morale!

Rachni - yeah, those will be nice as a suprise attack. Noone will be suspecting them to appear and attack the reapers.

Batarians - they're pissed off and after Shepard's last movements a bit outnumbered ^^. They can serve as live shields, diversions, husk fodder, whatever. Noone likes them anyway. So who cares?

Hanars - theyre useless at war: "Dear mister reaper, will you please make This One proud and leave humans alone? -All life must be erased. Your argument is very wise. ( shots himself in the head )"

Elcors - similar to hanars in that way. "Angry shout: Die reap... ( dies being stabbed by a single husk )"

I don't get what the big deal is about saving Earth. I mean my impression was that Earth was an overpopulated and polluted mess. I don't see why I would sacrifice an entire species to save a planet. Certainly sacrifices might have to be made to stop the Reapers, but dooming entire species seems a bit much.

Fair enough. But in my opinion poverty will always been present in human society.  We are greedy, and think only about ourselves. Poverty was always present in every human society, from Ancient Egypt (and before) to nowadays, passing between every economical system.

Well, it's not only the planet, but the entire human race. But I agree with you. Sacrifice will come for every species, and not for a single one, at least for me. Though I think that we'll probably have the option to wipe out some races (maybe even humanity.)

Greed has its uses however.

I wouldn't mind having dead Volus around, or dead Batarians, or dead Asari I guess.

All seriousness, though, I think the vorcha would be the best sacrifice, since nobody likes them.

The Asari or the Volus.
I can't really decide which so I'll flip a coin.

I would try to save all the races, no one deserves to be reaper bait. But if push comes to shove I'll sacrifice the quarians and vorcha no one would miss them anyway. I'll try my hardest to save the varren and the space cows.

Destroying Earth is basically dooming the human species to the role of servants to the other species, not unlike the drell.

DUDE, come on! Their fleet mainly consists of downtrodden, ancient civilian ships. A fleet of a thousand turian cruisers could easily wipe the Migrant Fleet from the face of the galaxy with little to no casualties.

Then again I might wipe out the Turians.
Well all of them except for Velarn, It'd be fun making him live with how wrong he was.
