I think books should be fair game. Which ME book? I've only read the first one, but have all three. Reading the lastest Sookie Stackhouse book I checked out from the library.sirgippy wrote...
If books are fair game, in the mass effect books, there is a tough as nails biotic marine named Hendel Mitra who is gay.
Gay characters that you thought were tough.

Not really but 3/4 of them are based on men who were most likely homosexual (Leonardo, Michelangelo and Donatello).
Leonardo gets double since he was also featured in Assassin's Creed.

Dumbledore.
I mean, it's not in any of the books, but JK Rowling stated this in interviews after the last book was published, so that means it's true.

Except the books clearly don't describe Dumbledore as a black, wheelchair-bound Muslim. His sexuality is completely left up in the air, however.Maria Caliban wrote...

Alexander the Great and Achilles.
Achilles is debated. I think Achilles had a bro-mance with Patrocles, that many people mistake as a homosexual romance.
Kinda like Garrus and male Shepard.

He's her character. He exists because she allows it, and he is gay because she demands it.

This paragraph is an Enchanted Arms spoiler: Makoto goes incognito as a bad ass who can basically take on anything all by himself (but leaves a lot to the player). His reason for his disguise? A gentle lady shouldn't be seen doing the manly things that he had to do to get the job done or some such terrible thing.
Jann from Valkyria Chronicles is arguably the best Lancer in the game and gets amazing stat bonuses from being around other men (especially Largo)... Too bad he's this big burly man who also wears make up and swoons like a teenage girl whenever Largo is around.

This.
There's nothing to contradict Dumbledore being gay. (Frankly I would've preferred it be in the books but if she says he's gay..he's gay.)

It was in the Razor special that filled out the backstory of the Battlestar Pegasus and Admiral Cain, before the Cylon attack Cain was in a relationship with a civilian defence contractor named Gina Inviere who was in fact a Cylon model six sent to sabotage the Pegasus when the attack started.

Because you've apparently not seen Razor.
@Dumbledweebs*: Maria's not saying it's not true. She's saying it's a bit silly for Rowling to bring it up when the books themselves lay virtually no foundation for it.
*I say this affectionately
