Ok I did notice my tower is kinda dusty inside, Whats the best way to clean this without damaging the internal hardware? I'm not too familiar with cleaning this so I'm assuming vacuum cleaning this is definitely not an option. Also What temps should i be looking for? I hope is a temp issue or a fan not working properly. This blows, I really dont want to end up buying an Xbox 360 for ONE GAME. LOL

Any tips on what to do? And the best way to clean dust off the internal parts of the CPU?

I would recommend a paintbrush (new, not used) and a can of compressed air. Take your machine outside, strip off the covers, and give it a good brush and blowout.
Might also pay to strip the fans off your CPU and GPU heatsinks, and clean the edges of the blades to get rid of the dust which is probably caked on.

Thanks bogsnot I will try that. I saw geraldine fixed her problem by getting a new PSU. Do you think I should do the same thing? Mine is a 750w but i bought it back in 2007. My computer was doing the same thing hers was (locking up with black screen) But yet my temps(posted above) seem low. Meh I want the Normandy to fly again =(

Its possible your PSU could be running low. Given they can lose up to 10%/year, it might be running at a measly 500w these days.
Personally, I'd go with the cheaper option first, as you would lose out at most a day trying it, and if it works, you get that satisfied "I fixed it" feeling, and you can postpone the PSU for maybe when you decide to upgrade your machine to a true beast in preperation for ME3 (which is what I plan to do).
If it doesnt work, then yeah, start looking at a new PSU, and future-proof yourself by getting a good 900+ watt job.

I have similar problems with Mass Effect. The game gets stuttery after about 20 minutes. It gets so bad that I basically have to keep track of when my 20 minutes are up and save the game and restart it.
Good god, don't buy a new PSU because this game isn't working. It's buggy. There is a serious issue with it. I spent hours and hours trying to get it to run properly and my knowledge of computers, coding, and hardware are well above average.
Take a look at how much of your CPUs process time is being used at about the 20 minute mark. For me, ME takes up almost 100% of 3 out of four of my CPU's cores. It seems to leave the fourth core alone.
Compare that to the CPU usage when I start playing ME1, which is about 40% usage.
There are threads about this all over the internet. It is a well known problem that the game quality degrades over time. No one has come up with a solution that just works.

@whiplash: Your problem is located within the hardware and/or windows configuration for your machine. If you want help on fixing it, post a new thread, detailing your problem and your system specs, otherwise, stop hijacking someone elses thread and filling it with BS.
