Thermal clips are better for ME2 (and ME3) with the improved combat

Do you think you can explain why? i think it would solve problems from both systems and the thermal clips could be more rare an not just littered on the field.

I dont know about that,im sure they could have worked it out or created a hybird system.
yes the combat is improved, but at the same time it just feels like other thrid person shooters now.at least in me1 it felt more surreal.its hard to explain.i dont like the melee never have.im hoping the ammo clips will have a much better effect on the game then it did in me2.they never ran out ever

Lol.
Christina Norman said that they apparently tested an undescribed hybrid system that nobody really knows about and it apparently didn't work. The specifics of what was wrong with it are not known, it simply 'did not work', which tells us everything.
The damage has been done in ME2, and they're trying harder and harder to take away the uniqueness of the combat that ME1 boasted (ZOMG DIDN'T NEED CHEST HIGH WALLS, for example) for the inclusion of a watered down Gears of War experience.
Hell, Mass Effect already has weird neck issues... why not take it from the game where necks are wider than the heads they support?

I think they should use the cooldown from the first mass effect but have heat sink clips available to instantly cool the wepons.
Everyone in existence agrees with you, except Bioware.

THANK YOU!
i think that the clips in mass effect two were way to common and they reversed the flow of tech in ME2. I thought technology was supposed to get better in time not revert to an archaic version.

The overheating system was cool for ME1 but for ME2 and ME3 the Thermal clips work just fine.
And no, the majority of people (not reffering to this forum) are perfectly fine with thermal clips

Christina Norman is gone and I hope she took her ammo system with her.
So, yeah... I want a hybrid system.. it would be fair for everyone ME1 and ME2 fans alike
I like unlimited ammo and I want to SNIPE with my sniper-rifle, not to go in the heat of battle to pickup ammo

You know because being a special operative means you suck at using anything until you dump points into it.
Point being the game-play has progressed significantly better due the inclusion of thermal clips.

Maybe you'd like stats that affect accuracy back?

I wouldn't be a gainst that... it's about progression, just like real life... and shooting can be improved just like any human trait.
but we're not talking about shooting stats (which would require some gameplay and mechanics changes) I just don't want to worry about ammo, they can make it unlimited for all I care and "reload" should be replaced with "vent" because that's exactly what it does.

Yep..Overheating was genius and fun..ammo clips is for the childern who not only play gears of war and other shooter but cant comprehend the simple intelligents it took to mod a weapon
Oh...the lols...they hurt so good.

I much prefer playing the game with the cool-down than the clips.
Since the weapons are modifiable, I do hope they have a choice to mod the weapon to either take thermal clips or use a heat-sink.
Currently in an ME2 and ME1 play-through simultaneously - and finding the cool-downs, gradual mods from ME1 so much more enjoyable than ME2.

You've missed the point then, Shepard is already considered one of the best soilders in the galaxy (profession wise) It is a very stupid idea for him to needing to be a better shot than he already is, instead it is a good idea to leave the accuracy up to the players own ablitity to control him.

If you want to play a game that doesn't utilize ammo play an elder scrolls game or some other RPG (Im not saying that they're bad) Mass Effect was never just an RPG to begin with, its is also a shooter. Big surprise you would find ammo in a game with guns (ME1 was the exception). Unlimited ammo worked for ME1 but really wouldn't work in ME2
