I just got an email about a new item available, called "the edge", available to those who buy the game before November 30.  Does that include those who have already bought the game?  I'm at work right now so I can't check this in game.  Will it just be available as free DLC?

Yeah got the mail aswell, but it doesn't show up in my DLC or anything, guess they excluded us who already have it? (could just take awhile aswell, who knows)

Yep same, hoppfully they will exstend this generosity to those that have shown loyalty and trust.

Same here, got the email nothing available for download. Did the log out/log in thing and it still hasn't shown up. If you read the small print on the bottom of the email it says;



"*To receive the item, users must login to social.bioware.com and register the game by entering their unique CD key (PC) or UPC code (Xbox 360®/PLAYSTATION®3) before November 30, 2009. Then use the same login information within the game and the item will appear on the in-game Downloadable Content screen ready to download. This applies to all accounts created before November 30, 2009."



So it looks like everyone gets it, might just take a bit to show up.

Don't go dangling more sweet, sweet in-game candy over our heads. At least make it available to people that already bought the game as well.

I checked my registered game promotions and it had all the stuff I had plus one item that says:



UNRECOGNIZED ITEM

An unknown promotional item has been found. Urecognized items will still be available and recognized by the system and game they are intended for.



Could be you just have to log into the game once it shows up.

Too bad it says my UPC is invalid and customer support is non existent. Still waiting on a reply EA <_<

I ordered off Steam and I have FOUR UPC's for some reason. It's always a crap shoot trying to figure out which UPC goes where. I've got all the other DLC without much trouble so far, my rogue wouldn't mind this dagger...

Interesting. Free weapons are always nice to have. Just hope they indeed let those of us with the game already get it too.

Well I was a little disappointed when I FINALLY found my special items in game, they cost X amount of gold to buy from a vender. So, I didn't really get it did I? Probably find the edge is like that. Either for sale in party camp, or at the warden's quest place.

Yes, I bought the game too before November 30th but I don't have that weapon. Also I got that email today too. I hope Bioware can do something about it.

if you're a PS3 user,just type "dragon age" in the psn store search,all the DLC's will come up there,i got mine that way

Have registered your game at the site here?  That's the only suggestion I can think of.

Not to belabour the obvious, but you did include the small numbers to the extreme left and right of the UPC , correct?  12 didgts, not 10?

Have registered your game at the site here?  That's the only suggestion I can think of.

Ofc m8 I'll wait for an official response or give it some time. A shiny new weapon would be nice for my rogue ^^

All my other stuff is listed in the DLC area, but no sign of the Edge. As I am just starting a dual wielding Thief I would really like to have this weapon. I also have the PC collectors edition that I pre-ordered.
